China continues to dominate!!
once again, China dominates in all genres! okay, so first of all the story was so interesting because it was a movie within a drama, and to be honest I would have totally watched that movie! chemistry was great, acting was great, pacing was fantastic, kept me intrigued from the very first episode! the therapist character in the "movie" probably needed to have some form of realism, because that was the worst therapist on the planet! but it goes with the drama 😆 although I am not a fan of the massive time jump, this does have a year-long time jump at the end, but it is a happy ending, which always makes me glad! I would recommend watching this, although to just give warning if this is something that you are shy about, this is a fairly mature film, not horribly so, but I probably wouldn't watch it with my mother 🤔, but I do wish China did the BL scene more, because honestly, China is the best of the Asian dramas! in my humble opinion 😉Was this review helpful to you?

not horrible, but not great either
so I really wanted to like this, because the beginning episodes were fantastic! with the whole murder mystery game scenario, it was super fun, very energetic, very watchable! then somewhere in the middle it kind of started telling a whole separate story, which on its own was not a bad story per se, but it wasn't very interesting, cuz you just absolutely knew what was going to happen and the whole murder mystery game that made you fall in love with this series in the beginning just stopped, it was no more to be seen. and unfortunately the second half was very boring and almost impossible to get through. also the second couple, really weird, and also this is kind of a spoiler, so her best friend was married to this super wonderful guy that she loved and they had a perfect life, and then she suspected him of cheating on her so she followed him one day and saw another woman kiss him, and I don't know if she was supposed to have seen this, but we saw it, the guy pushed the other woman away from him. but at that point she just told him she wasn't going to love him anymore and they were going to be divorced and that was all, then all of a sudden she got this new boyfriend/friend kind of a person, and we never found out what happened to the other guy, he just stopped being in the show, I mean it was kind of weird because if he was having an affair then I feel the story should have made that clear so that we could all understand why she ditched him, but it made it seem like he really wasn't having an affair and he told her that but she just didn't believe him and then she just left and that was that 🤔 but honestly, overall, I want to say I would suggest the first half and then kind of skip through the second half if you want to finish it, but there you go 🤷🏼♀️Was this review helpful to you?

well it was 30 minutes......
so I'm not really sure what I expected from a 30-minute show, but there was a lot wrong, but I think the worst of it was that it could have been something really good! the thought process was there! but for 30 minutes it wasn't really any time to flesh out anything, not the action, not the relationship, it's like they met for 10 seconds and all of a sudden they're soulmates! but honestly the biggest issue that I had with the whole show was the fact that the end, big spoiler here, was a one year ghosting! I mean I understand that a lot of dramas have a time jump but there's always something leading into it, this boy got a phone call that his dad passed away, and that was it, he just took off, he didn't tell anybody, for a whole year, no phone calls, no text, no freaking letter! this is the 21st century, he could have dropped him a text! 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️Was this review helpful to you?

China can't be beat!
I know that the skittle squad community is not allowed to be represented in China, but every now and again they'll sneak one out! and I'm so happy they did with this one! although it is a short drama, I feel that they got a lot of story into those eight episodes. obviously they could have elaborated on some but with only eight episodes they could only do what they could do. but this is not censored to bromance, and the chemistry is outstanding! The story is very watchable, very fast paced! The acting was very good, although I didn't recognize these actors, not that that really matters I don't know them all obviously, but they were very good! The villain was very villainy, love that, because he didn't get redeemed, although well written because you could still kind of see where he was coming from, so he was an understandable villain. not a fan of the lack of communication that a lot of the male leads in these dramas have, this one is no different, you kind of want to smack them upside the back of the head and just say talk! and not a fan of the time jump, which does happen at the end. and the end was a bit abrupt, and by a bit I mean it was pretty abrupt! but all that said, I still say great drama and definitely worth the watch! don't miss it!Was this review helpful to you?
KOREA HAS ENTERED THE GAME!
Ladies and Gentlemen, Korea has finally entered the grown up BL ring! no more dead fish kisses and gentle emotions! The story was fantastic, for such a short drama, they had an enormous amount of action and storyline. The acting was top-notch, the chemistry was off the freaking chart! I freaking highly highly recommend this, and it'll definitely be on my rewatch list! but on a sad note, I can no longer accept the past Korean BLs as they were, I must insist that they move forward from this point! 🤔Was this review helpful to you?
