Respectfully, I’m trying not to compare to princess agents but even tho i watched the prequel i still feel confused and i wonder if those who didn’t are even more confused. I actually love the actors, they’re great, i just think story wise it needed to be told differently. In my opinion you barely understand their relationships, flashbacks are used poorly. You don’t even get zhuge and yan xun were friends. Idk if it’s like this in the novel but Chu left her « slave period » by herself, with her intelligence and ambition, it was fitting for her character but in that flashback where zhuge takes care of chu’s burned feet for 2 whole minutes it feels like he decided to save her from slavery like that. That doesn’t even fit zhuge’s temperament early on. They slowed down on Li ce’s perv side and i guess why not but they could have made him more fun and extravagant to make the gloomy atmosphere better.

Somehow I really needed to watch this.. I realized that as much as I dislike my life, I wouldn’t enjoy it more in a random person’s body bc we all have our own sufferings. I have the people I love around me and that’s all that should matter

Finally a good ending

Even though romance moments are quite brief, I really appreciated the story and how the female characters were written (smart, capable, and not waiting to be saved). The female villains were nice and weren’t really jealous rivals like most of the time (at least it wasn’t the main focus). Also the FL was never undermined by the ML, she was already smart on her own + no love triangle thank youuu. The ML is expressive, sarcastic, when a lot of the time I find MLs very stoic. Very fresh.

loved the first season, that was my first kdrama i've watched im excited to see the 2nd one

not me saying i hate childish FLs a few days ago only to binge watch this drama and end up being obsessed with the actress .. i'm glad i went past those few moments that annoyed me at the beginning and kept watching it. it's a beautiful drama with amazing acting and a powerful OST, definitely entered my top 5 cdramas

story seems really interesting but i cannot stands FLs who act like they're 8 year old

finished TTEOTM and then right after ligther & princess so i'm currently obsessed with both luo yunxi and chen feiyu, it's time to finally to release it!!!!
