I read somewhere that they are near 15 or a year or two above in age in the beginning. I'm afraid it's the norm these days in historical Cdramas. Just convince yourself and wipe it off your mind and see the young character's as if they are in their 20's or above this age bracket. :)

Just like what the above Jeanette's post said to differentiate them both. Because both Dr. Jun and Princess Jiuling bears the same name "Jiuling" and he sometimes see's some similarities in the manner of speaking, hobbies and actions of his first love and friend Princess Jiuling in our Dr. Jun as it would be easy to confuse the two girls. As he now drops his early suspicion of Dr. Jun as the Princess and finally accept that she died in that fire and is buried in the Lu Family Tomb he prepares and train his mind and avoid confusion that this Dr.Jun in front of him who interest him and who he subconsciously follows ...is not Princess Jiuling....but is Dr.Jun who is different and her own self woman ( a combination of the Princess Jiuling's + new Dr. Jun's personality ) who Zhu Zan subconsciously of course falls in love with again too... but for now he thinks he is only admiring and is impressed by Dr.Jun as he still thinks he is and will be forever be in love with his great love the Princess Jiuling. He actually calls her " 姓君的 - Xìng jūn de " pronounced as " Shin Jun Da " that literally means " Surname Jun " and in the drama they translate and wrote it as " Jun " unromantic I know... but for me this gesture is romantic as Zhu Zan is actually subconsciously signaling to Dr. Jun that he is in no or any other way confusing her with Princess Chu Jiuling at all, thus Zhu Zan's emphasis on calling her " Jun " means that he accepts Dr. Jun as her own self as if in readiness to " if ever he falls in love with her " in the future which he did consciously or subconsciously :D ...this is my interpretation only feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Annoying yes but I think it's because her Mistress ( be it the real Jun Zhenzhen in the past or the Princess as Dr. Jun Jiuling now and I bet even her Master who is Zhenzhen's father ) is really good and kind to her that Liuér knows she will not be punished for being outspoken and that her Mistress will always protect her ( a bad assumption ) , she is being spoiled by her Mistress for a maid too. She is still very young ( youngster's tends to be sensitive, spirited, brash and reckless still at that age ) she tends to think and is frustrated that her Mistress silences ( in truth it's only a smart move by our heroine ) to being told off and being misunderstood always by others is only because of the fact that Dr. Jun her mistress is so kind, generous and polite at heart to anyone and that's why Liu'er always speak her grievances openly as ( she thought which is not a good move ) a stand-in of her mistress. As she is only a maid she doesn't have an education, she doesn't know any of the higher rank's proper etiquettes and I suspect is of simple mind too ( 'cause she's slow to realize sometimes too late what her brash actions does to our FL leads to but still doesn't learn her lesson anyway ) so unfortunately Liu'er's action in turn always get our FL into hot boiling water's. She loves the FL and is very loyal though :) which her Mistress ( both past and present ) rightly deserves so.

Gotta give points to Lu Yun Qi though when he tried to help Dr. Jun in episode 20 when the Doctors where telling her off their regrets and Lu Yun Qi was trying to shut them up by scaring them off to dare to tell their complaints of Dr. Jun in his presence and Zhu Zan just poked his wheels by arriving and saying something admirable and resolving the matter. Good of Lu Yun Qi to not interrupt and not do something to get in the way of Zhu Zan in helping Dr. Jun and making sure to leave the FL only after he has confirmed that the matter is really resolved by his enemy Zhu Zan.

Agree! :D aside from the FL ( Peng Xiao Ran ) , Lu Yun Qi ( Du Ya Fei ) even has chemistry with our ML ( Jin Han ) albeit the kind of chemistry where in they always annoy the other to no end and hate each other to the core . Lovin' It!

It was funny when Zhu Zan was telling off Lu Yun Qi that he always haunts ( stalking ) all the places where our Dr. Jun is, when point in fact Zhu Zan is also haunting ( in a good way ) our heroine. Lol!

There are times that you sometimes pity Lu Yun Qi and most of the times you'll feel really glad that Zhu Zan is always beating him up.

don't bank on it....at the tone they are setting this drama with...which is dark I'm pretty sure romance is very far from their mind if ever there is romance thrown in, it would be very little to almost none existent kind......

Wow, this did not disappoint indeed. Love,love,love the tone and on how they opened up the story line so far but I'm soooo obsessed with the color palette they used for this drama and the song near the end scene ost oooohhh lovin it. Namgoong Min's character is so hot here especially when his hair was long and made hotter by the good placement of his scars and clean cut hair at the end .....Park Ha Sun's character exudes a badass strong woman love how they styled her character here. Hope they continue this good pacing and not get boring in the middle.

someone who read the novel and is giving away spoilers on Jun Jiu Ling said that in the novel she told Zhu Zan first eventually her real identity, I don't know how they will spin this in the drama though.

yes...I especially like the Female Leads facial expression and reaction's to the Main Leads misunderstood and weird (for her) actions.... :D

is the Veil the korean 2013 one or the 2021 korean thriller one? and if it's the latter just wanna ask if it's good cause I remember watching the teaser of this and it was rather good just forgot about it because there were many drama's released that's in my watchlist.

hahaha... my sentiments exactly ....after One and Only broke me....and this is what they plied me with after what they did? :(....I believe I was frustrated too along with Shi Yi, I feel her....

:D enjoyed this one a good Intermission drama while waiting for new episodes of cdrama JunJiu Ling ....a good and lighthearted, fun and fluffy fantasy romantic comedy cdrama. Love the expressions, interractions and reactions of the FL and ML's, also really like the foxy Old Master of the FL and the ML's funny little brother and his valet and personal maid. For a small budget and rushed script this was beautifully made/done. There are loopholes ofcourse and then some that could have been done better but overall it's a worthy to watch, kind of cdrama.
