Just finished ep25 and I am somewhat frustrated. FL said that she'll leave to see other places. This sounded exciting. But she only went to her birthplace and will go back now. And then there is the ML, stuck to her like a friggin tick. There are very few scenes where she is without him around.
A somewhat weird power fantasy piece. Not only does the ML have the Jade Buddha Hand but he also has telekinesis? Because one can never be OP enough, right?
Is Sungho's teaming up with Jiseok to bring down Hyesung Group is to force Yeojin to stop those corporate raids? Then…
I don't get Sungho either. He seems to feel sorry for the collateral damage, but does nothing to stop or mitigate it. Why use someone with a personal grudge for his plan (whatever it is) in the first place?
Just finished it. And wow, it was so good. No saving the empire stuff. Just a woman surviving and thriving. I also like how the ML and FL are BFFs not lovers.
Childhood friends (and lovers) separated by circumstances reuniting again. And of course the ML only has eyes for FL and has been waiting for her all the time. It's starting to feel cheesy and trite.
I am not buying that FL developed romantic feelings for the ML. Imo she goes through the same phase as Hong Dan, claiming to want to raise that kid alone but scared af. So what she needs is a provider and protector. Conveniently ML is around and more than willing to do the job.

I hope it continues like that, won't get dramatic.
I've looked it up at the beginning of the show because I was skeptical about it. But there is indeed a drug called Luxturna, which costs $850,000.
Besides I'd rather see her stay single than end up with such a manchild.
The road to hell is paved with good intentions.
And he is also incompetent at his job, go figure...
