Do grown adults still act like bratty children? Their rude comments at the memorial were so ridiculous and embarrassing.…
I didn't get the whole suing thing either. The other guy was actually the one in hot water, as throwing a bottle at someone is a more severe crime. In some countries it might count as an assault with a deadly weapon.
How did Se Yeong and Jin Gu become a couple in the first place? The woman is insufferable. And I don't believe she only became like that when Ha Na appeared.
I really don't like how the ML is guilt tripping FL, as if it's her fault that he has such a heartache. Is it really his plan to get her to agree to a relationship with him out of pity and guilt?
I think the point of the drama is that she is not as good as she thinks to be. She probably manipulated her friend…
The master manipulator is Feng Hua Nan. FL didn't manipulate anyone. She is just being stubborn and wants to date her crush, thinks that she can avoid the bad future due to the changes that already happened.
FL's mother says that she suffered the most due to the Maeng family. And now she wants Hong Dan to suffer just like her, because they are a family now. LMAO
Dropped this one when ML and FL suddenly fell in love. It didn't make any sense the way it happened. There was no romantic buildup.
I guess one could argue that he has been in love with her (image) for a long time. But her suddenly falling for him, while all the other crazy stuff is happening, makes no sense whatsoever. Frankly, my immediate feeling was, that she must have fallen for his status, being emperor and all. That is how weird it felt.
Hmm. First I though this would be a transmigration into the past story. I like those. Although the magic element bothered me a bit.
Now it turns out to be a full on Isekay. And the ML is OP as hell. Not only does he have more advanced knowledge and is quite witty. He is also very attuned to magic. That bothers me a bit more.
I am still enjoying it though. It's just that OP characters get boring after a while, necessitate OP antagonists.
Just a couple of episodes in, and the way the ML is written is weird. The way he asked her to marry him after dating just a couple of weeks was really sketchy. When they reunite he is clearly pissed about the breakup. Then he is suddenly all about her, almost stalkerish.
This is slowly shaping up to become my favorite historical fiction drama. The characters and the script are great. The historical tidbits at the end of each episode are nice too.
I enjoyed the drama until FL's confession. I wish she would have stayed true to her conviction and would not pursue her infatuation with the ML. I would have preferred more of a platonic relationship between them. That would not fly with the typical cdrama viewership though, I guess. So I am dropping this one, although it is not bad. I'm just not excited for the romance and drama that will now follow.
It's okay for what it is. Although the gloomy deprimating vibes are not really my thing.
First I thought the poster was a play on Cinderella and her Stepmother. But so far the interactions of the two women have been positive.
It works fine in the movie this is based on. But here the igdaf granny in a young body feels already too much after 5 episodes.
