asia y'all need to let playful kiss die in peace already, korea did it, japan did it twice and are about to do it a third time and now taiwan wants to get in on this to redo it for a second time so yeah that makes this the 5th or 6th remake of the manga live action. I would like to see some other nice shojo made into a live action, you know maybe one where the leading male isn't a complete jerk
thank you so much for doing this i feel like not enough people give jdramas the credit they deserve in the overall drama fandom. I'm mainly into Jdramas for the variety of genres (And the cute actors *hint hint**wink wink**nudge nudge*) I watch kdramas every now and again as a change of pace. However, Jdramas suit me best and like you said i feel like lots of people don't give them chances almost at all because of rumors about what jdramas are, which is sad. 1. thank you for making a list about j-actors. I don't hate kdramas or actors but i barely watch them and therefore cannot relate
2. i'm a JE fan and mainly watch johnny's in dramas just because im a fan so i sometimes run out of time to watch stuff for other actors so thanks for this list
3. i needed a list of junichi's good stuff thanks i've been meaning to watch him in stuff i hear his amazeballs at acting but i've never come across him in anything orz

5. lastly once i find a good actor whether he's hot or not i'll eventually find him attractive in some way like hamada gaku i think he's adorable but he's def not on everyone's hottie list
so seeing as i mainly watch Jdramas i haven't seen most of these kdramas XD i've seen master's sun and she was pretty and i've watched season 1 of itazura na kiss, i haven't finished season 2 because yes irie naoki is like the worst character he treats this girl who is eventually his gf and then wife pretty badly. He tells her nothing about how he feels and all he wants to do is tease her until the end of time. I watched the kdrama version of this and i found kim hyun joong even more unbearable than furukawa yuki XD but that was just perception. The character itself is just meh :/ it was a cute story in general but boy oh boy i wish i felt the love from him towards her at least a lil bit.Irie naoki is way more than stoic like you said he's basically a robot. I would have been much happier if he was just this guy who had a hard personality barrier but he wasn't a complete asshole and if she had a lil more self respect cuz like someone said below that was also just kinda =.=
however i will say i hate this drama theme and it became far too popular in kdramas which is why i don't watch them often anymore
good article, i go in phases as well with TV some days im really craving drama like i need it so bad and after a streamline of drama watching i might need a movie specifically because the satisfaction of a quicker happy ending is appealing and sometimes i just want a game show where people are playing fun games or talking about celeb gossip. but my phases are quick idk about anybody else but i can be in a psychological drama mood for two days and then the next day need a rom-com or i can be in a rom com mood for like 2 weeks and then suddenly need a tearjerker XD anybody else like this? no, just me? ok XD
