They don't end up together. I guess the movie is more about the growth of the main character after confronting the past and her feelings. Hopefully you'll still give this a try :)

Go Ah Ra's character in Hwarang was beyond frustrating, She was a capable woman who didn't need anybody until the male leads appeared and from that point onwards she spent the entire drama crying and/or being saved.

You know, if I wasn't in the middle of like 15 dramas I might have tried and watch for a few more episodes, but it is such a long drama and only Xiao Yu Er's storyline seems worth watching, so I guess I'll be dropping this one. The beginning was pretty good and towards the middle it started to drag out and became kinda depressing? 7/10 because we got some pretty good kissing scenes and both Gao Hanyu and Charlene Chen are too cute.
