I haven't watched Guardian and after reading this article I might just read the novel instead, but after having watched a couple of Chinese dramas and shows, sometimes censorship gets ridiculous. For example in the TV program Qing Chun You Ni at some point the contestants that had their hair dyed or wore earrings couldn't show up on screen. Or in Meteor Garden 2018 there wasn't any bullying and the F4 didn't brag about how rich they were (it was all thanks to their hard work). It's a shame because sometimes by censoring these things the story doesn't make sense.
I'll make sure to write down your recommendations! Despite me constantly complaining about their length, I have completed a couple of weekend dramas and I absolutely loved them (My Father is Strange and Never Twice).
I love Good's smile. He is so handsome..I am rooting for Boyo and Good too. I am not confident that ship will…
mmmm there are a lot of episodes left, but I don't know if everyone would be that worried if bew was at the hospital, although it would explain why safe was there... so I'd say it's good? but it's confusing and I can't wait to find out

ugh, it's just that it took ages for them to get together and now that they're happy... I think that's what it looks like but after safe gets involved good will probably realize that his feelings were deeper than he thought or something like that
I think the order was messed up because people assumed people like sunoo and heesung would get in no matter what.…
Maybe? although especially Sunoo has been consistently at the top so it was so weird seeing him drop so much, same for Jungwon getting 1st (but hey, can't complain because he's my top pick and I thought he was on the verge of elimination). But again, it could be Mnet rigging the whole program just like they did with Produce 101, only that this time it was K who got Jonghyuned lol. Sorry don't mind me I just can't get my head around it.
Ah... like pretty much every survival show the ending feeling was so bittersweet. I'm so happy for the members that got to debut but K should've been part of the lineup and the order was confusing to say the least (Heeseung fifth? Sunoo eighth?). I hardly ever cry watching these shows but I might have shed a tear or two while watching the Into the I-land performance.
wowwww I really thought this time Daniel would go? but since it's pretty clear they didn't want Hanbin either this was their last chance to eliminate him because he's very popular among the voters... oh and I almost had a heart attack seeing Jungwon rank ninth, thanks mnet
I like watching dramas as they air because it's easier for me to think of 1 or 2 ep/week instead of 16 or 20 to watch but the downside is sometimes realizing halfway through that the drama is terrible for various reasons, which can mostly be avoided by seeing the rating after it ended and reading both reviews and comments.
I enjoyed Goblin for different reasons, but that romantic relationship was just so ugh no for me. Not only she's in high school and he's some immortal dude that's lived for hundreds of years, but also Kim Go Eun looks physically so much younger than Gong Yoo... Also even though you didn't mention it I think that My Love From the Star had an age gap that was done quite nicely.
Ahhh... I started watching k-dramas veeeery casually, like I'd binge one in 2 days and watch another one two months later. It's been almost 4 years since I started watching them and I've branched out into other countries such as China and Thailand but k-dramas definitely remain my favorites. Btw it was a very nice article :)
