Great article! Tbh I don't think I've ever suffered from sls mainly because I started watching dramas a couple of years ago and the love interests seem to be more balanced. Still, I've seen some older dramas and instead of getting sls I just want the leads to break up lol. Also like you mentioned, that supposedly nice guy oftentimes is pushy and thinks he deserves de fl because he helped her (even if she didn't ask) and it's really frustrating to watch!
I was excited for this week's performances but having seen the preview they all just look the same lol. I was waiting for a group to choose a fun and energetic song but I guess that's not happening for now.

I think they had these two amazing songs and couldn't find a smooth way to go from one to the other. Maybe it would have been better if they were more similar?
So far I'd say: - BTOB (left me speechless but I also want them to show their funny side on stage) - IKON (both songs were amazing but I didn't really like the transition) - The Boyz (the performance looked stunning visually but I didn't like how the music was arranged)
This was one of my favorite dramas of 2020 but I didn't see many people talking about it. Hopefully with your article more people will become interested in it!
Loved this first episode! Of course not everyone can win but at least there aren't eliminations this time around. My personal favorites were BTOB and IKON.
Awww I love Running Man so much! I'm nowhere near catching up with the newest episodes but it's become one of my all time favorite shows. From these early years I especially remember loving The Usual Suspects (ep 38) and Petit France ( ep 40). Looking forward to the next part!
Tbh for me the worst part of Oh My Ghostess was the boss... he was just so annoying! For those who enjoyed the crazy/funny type of boss in Strong Woman Do Bong Soon, they might enjoy Protect the Boss.
Fantastic article! I've been watching dramas for 4 years and at the beginning I focused more on the plot and the overall vibe since I didn't know any of the actors, but nowadays I'm much more inclined to watch if I like at least one of them. Still, if it's horror or sci-fi, unless it is a highly recommended drama I'll probably skip it.
It's been two years since I last saw Kim Jung Hyun in a drama and I love seeing him do another comedy role (with a twist!). I don't think any sort of romance will bloom between the leads (although tvn please prove me wrong) but hopefully sometime in the future they could do a romantic comedy drama together? please?
Honestly this was a fantastic drama! I've seen people complaining about the leads (especially Geum Ja) doing questionable things, but I thought it was nice for a change seeing morally grey characters as protagonists. For those who aren't into that they won't probably enjoy it as much, but the actors are great and have insane chemistry so I'd still recommend to give this drama a shot.
Lovely article for a lovely drama. Tbh, even though I love Sungjae and Choi Won Young I was skeptical about it because I don't really like Hwang Jung Eum, but I'm so glad I gave this a try. For me it was kinda slow at the beginning but after a couple of episodes I couldn't stop watching. Definitely one of my favorite dramas of the year.
Completely agree with your views on Eulachacha Waikiki and Mystic Pop-Up Bar (aka the only ones on this list that I've watched lol). I'd like to add Hospital Playlist. Apart from the friendship between the characters being so well-written, the actors have great chemistry on and off-screen.

I know and that's why I haven't attempted yet to watch one lol. It's just my personal preference, I start to get tired after 40 minutes even if I'm enjoying it.
wow what a strong first episode! I came here looking for some rich people drama and so far it's delivering. my only complaint is that 1h 20 min is too long D:
