same question, as watched 2ep and think start is similar, but WDBYD had more plot heavy introduction and more funny bits in initial interactions, so wondering why this have a lot higher score

I think you overanalyze it, can you really expect from drama power level balance? it not wuxia and even in wuxia there isn't often consistent.
1 I mean almost everyone was dead or down, what you expect, sneak critical attack was ok imo, or next hunter or white hair Hunter would be dead if they keep fighting
2 expect strategic approach? Both sides want to go symbolic place
3 this part o didn't like it, they mentioned need 10-1 advantage for hunters, how they was winning in the past, if there is so much fiends underground. And mad blade on boost took only few
6 I think her mom come by herself, nobody play ocarina then, maybe she keep some memories and want protect daughter
7 I was surprised so many left, like at one moment looked like white hair hunters wipe all hunters 😅
9 I mean she was beaten on brink of death and stay in coma
10 I think beside budget they may be censored in brutal fight scenes, as EP often is 34-38min instead 40, it maybe reason it looked chaotic

it one of most interesting drama lore wise, and pack with story. when other focus on emotions/dialogue this focus strongly on story. it's refreshing. can anyone recommend something similar about myths/oddities in modern/urban settings?

I think it may have more to do with publisher cost efficiency, like what I heard "when destiny brings you a demon" novel have 3 equal arcs and they made 1st one in 20eps, 2nd in 9eps and 4th in 4eps squeezing ending just in 33 instead 60

is it true? feel like lately they liberate what is shown in romance, 'when destiny brings you a demon' show surprisingly hot kisses and tone of it, and now love on Turquoise land show some bare skin

I agree it was realistic therefore I don't dislike it's depiction, yet for ideal score would want exceptional relationships depiction ;)

ok we have different worldviews, I think otherwise making decisions for someone is like teen Vs parent relation which wasn't good in this couple context, adults can and should make decisions for themselves, and if want align it with significant other should do it through communication

maybe you don't understand good intentions Vs autonomy, but there is huge difference, doesn't matter what she thought is best for him, matter is it was only his decision to make, she have idea about later it becomes burden and guild toward her but it's was only her imagination, could be totally different. He make decision about himself, not for her, so how it's the same

for sure it's one of better one but fall in usual trope of work first love later, miscommunication was downside and FL entitlement to make decisions for ML, class lower than Hidden Love imo

yeah they both lie, but point was different when he like he wants stay with her, it was his choice, when she liked she wants cut him off to become independent from her, make decision for him, by her image of his good which she doesn't have right to imo that was worse, at least in end she allows him to be with him no matter results she wanted elier

yep even if she was so committed to make him go, she should go with him, instead she prefers to develop own career locally so for me feels like she doesn't really want be with him
