I've seen plenty of cooking type drama's ...being Modern or Historical.. This one ..Chef Hua has taken 10 Star across the board. This is a drama that will be a re.. re ... re-watch drama. Bravo to the outstanding cast.. Especially the leading actor and actress. This was great.. and deliciously nummy to enjoy watching!!!
Allen will always be A Top Notch 10 Star Actor in my book. No matter what.. if one of his drama's are coming out.. I have to show respect and at least watch his hard work. Don't' really care for the leading actress... and the leading actor I have no clue who he is. However... I will give it a try. I've seen some popcorn clips on YouTube and actually .. I'm taking a huge chance in watching this and wasting my drama minutes. However, it seems that there is few and very little Outstanding C-drama's that are completed or even being added to certain drama sites that I frequent, so I've been watching a few old ones dated back 2019 or older. Or I'll watch favorites from my list. I'm beginning to feel that C-drama's are being restricted on which ones are allowed to be viewed by international viewers.... (heavy sigh). So as the old saying goes... if you're desperate... You'll watch anything, no matter how disappointing it may be. I'll cross my fingers and hope for the best.
So when I first watched this.. I made the *HUGE MISTAKE of READING COMMENTS* Especially taking the negative all in... which in my personal opinion, did effect the viewing time. Hence Months later I decided to watch this again... since C-drama's that are being added are boorish and have been more of a eye sore than anything else. The second time around I found this drama is HIGHLY UNDERRATED & Undeserved of some of the negativity that surrounds it. HOWEVER.... We're all different souls with Different Taste in many things. I can understand the complaints about some things.. such as focusing on other things than just the main couple or how quickly the brother was forgotten. Yet... Remembering the 1st 12 or so ep's... the brother was NOT forgotten.. the main fl still mourned for him in her own way. As for the other issues... well I will chalk it up to... IT'S A DRAMA! It's not just going to focus on the relationship between the Two Leads. There has to be some kind of Issues going on in their business & private lives. Anyway... I may have been judgmental the 1st time I watched this due to reading the negative comments & not giving it a clean chance. Hence feeling thoroughly disappointed... however, since watching it a second time with a clear fresh mind without bias of past comments.. I'll at least give this a rating of an 8/10 with a better understanding.

That's what pulled me though to finish watching it. Was I focused more on the Main Character (Allen Ren) since he showed no matter how bad the script is... he's showing how professional he is by giving 100%.

Then when the truth is found out ... all their gossip and crap has already ruined someone's livelihood & if they are also supporting their elderly parents or grandparents ... they have ruined their lives as well. These Netizens should keep their mouths shut until all *FACTS* are in and proven. Give the one that worked their azz off for their (the public) entertainment more support until then & wish for the best . Then if they are found guilty of the rumor.. then he deserves to be shunned...... BUT if he isn't... then the person that started the rumor should be held accounted for Legally for the damage she created to the person she was trying to destroy. You never know .. this girl may have been jealous or pissed because this kid didn't want to get back together with her (because she found out he was becoming famous from the drama). Or maybe she did have an abortion... but we don't know that he forced it or if he even knew she was pregnant. So NETIZENS SHOULD NEVER ASSUME that *RUMORS* are facts. I don't know this actor.. and honestly.. I didn't like the drama Hometown cha cha cha. However, I've seen enough of these rumor's destroying famous young artists lives that it truly shows the type of people these Netizens are... Pathetic.

GREAT DRAMA... Seeing a whole different side of Mr. Ren and loving the love & respect with the main couple. This drama allowed so many feelings to be felt... anger, sorrow, sadness, happiness & admiration and respect for how precious keeping tradition can be. Beautiful.. Highly recommend
Terrible.... just Terrible. Over-Rated To say the Least. They should have fired the writer, or just threw the script in the garbage. I've never been so confused with any drama that I've watched throughout the years. This was truly ridiculous. (Personal Opinion)

it doesn't matter how high paid an actor is... if the script is poorly written ... the best of the best highly paid actors, actresses, director etc... aren't going to make it any better. there is only 1 famous actor that viewers obviously would watch this drama for. I myself .. watched it not for anyone famous, because it's the quality of the script. Which the quality of this script ... fell below ZERO!!! Not even worth rating.
ANOTHER HIT PLAYLIST!!!! I'm going to miss this. It was filled with amazing stories, personal accomplishments & struggles. It's gave us Enjoyment, Tears, and reasons to be thankful and be grateful for whatever we have in our lives.... especially when it comes to our health and the health of our loved ones. Also to understand and appreciate with the utmost respect the struggles that all doctors, nurses & interns go through. I will definitely miss this Hospital Playlist... BUT... I'll be crossing my fingers that another season will return with updates of the lives of our lovingly couples.
I finally finished the drama... and why a lot of viewers were stating the this wasn't Allen Ren's best work (LOL, this is one script Allen should have threw in the garbage). It has nothing to do with Allen Ren or any of the Cast members... but EVERYTHING TO DO with the SCRIPT itself. Even the best director, wouldn't be able to pull this drama script out of the mud. There were maybe 1 or 2 actresses that you can tell were just saying their lines with no emotional connection. However... that being said, it doesn't change the fact that The script is the culprit of a very drama gone bad. In my personal opinion Allen Ren and Zhang Hui Wen did a great job considering what they had to work with... and the director obviously didn't do to well on directing. Which could be the fault of the poorly written script. Can't always put the blame on the Casts just because it's not leading up to our expectations. Give fault where the fault is due... in this case, from the full 45 ep... the fault is fully in the script itself (in my personal opinion)
