My personal opinion so far........... SIGHHHH. I knew that this female lead was not going to pull me into believing in her character (like to know who her backing is for her to get a role with a top notch actor like Ji Chang Wook with her acting skills or lack of, OR maybe they had a low cost budget for the Female lead role) & not feeling any connection with her & Wookie's character. I'm pretty sure this will be another Ji Chang Wook drama I'll drop. I Adore and Admire him as an Actor.. He's Outstanding.... BUT... unfortunately... I won't continue to watch a drama no matter how much I respect an Actor or Actress when the casting is lacking with acting skills in connecting with their character and making the drama suffer because of it.

***RESPONSE TO ALL COMMENTS*** I knew this wasn't going to be a popular comment that I expressed.... but honestly I don't care if I'm sided with or not. As for Ji Chang Wook as someone kindly put it... I'm not saying that every drama he is in.. he's the only top notch actor because of it... There were drama's I didn't care for him in .. such as *BackStreet Rookie* & *Melting Me Softly* which I also dropped. Everyone can like the actress that is playing the lead... it's not like I haven't watched her other characters. I've seen her before in a few drama's ... even as a supporting actress and MY OPINION she is someone that can't bring me to liking her character or believing in her character and for me that's important when watching a drama. I tried blaming it on the Script or the Director/Producer, but it can only be done so many times, before you reach a conclusion it's probably the acting alone.
I've pretty much decided that since this is already the 3rd Drama of Ji Chang Wook I've dropped... I won't be watching anymore drama's with him in it.
If I've pressed one of your sensitive buttons .... this Old lady will always stick to her guns ... like I've always done in my 65 years ... well really less... more like 52 years of my lifetime. I never apologize for my Personal Opinion.
God Bless Everyone and Stick to your Opinions ... they matter.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Jumong is pretty good. I cannot put many recommendations in article. :) But the four that I recommended is my…
I started out with Jumong.. great respect for it. However, the one drama that I'll always find myself softhearted too is *Empress Ki*, which seems to be over looked by audience a lot.. sad :*( It's an excellent historical drama.. first time I even noticed Ji Chang Wook. He was my favorite character along with Empress Ki. It was this that pulled me into historical drama's... whether SK or C drama's. However, more partial to the romantic ones :)

But Soo Young isn't really a good actress
Right... well... it just shows how much she didn't impress me. I didn't even focus her being a Lead. lol. Just Kidding... I'm old... don't judge me ROFLMAO
Just finished watching this drama... Strong Start ... going well toward the middle. HOWEVER... That ending... I was so fricking confused. Here I am intensely wondering what in the heck is she talking about... then POOF!!! WHAT THE HECK JUST HAPPENED? What Kind of Ending is That???. This drama went from a 10 star running... until the last two episodes and then it dropped to 7 stars and that's pushing it. Lets change that... the 7 stars .. I MUST give it to the Actors & Actresses... They definitely gave credit to their profession. I was especially happy to see the one actress from *The Untamed Zoey Meng. I knew when watching her there, that this young lady was going to be an excellent Leading Actress in this drama. BRAVO and of course lots of admiration to both the Leading men : Aarif Rahman and Anther Actor from *The Untamed Marius Wang. They deserve 10 star rating.
40 episodes and the just as you think you've got a 10 Star... it throws a rotten apple for the ending. SMH!!!

Although there were more than 5, but just picked the ones closet to the top... I have already 12 or so that I'm looking out for. Excited for the majority of the quite a few of the drama's that are on the list. Also can't wait for *Legend of Fei* that starts airing today... :-) I've been patiently waiting knowing what and why there will be on going delays for these dramas to be completed or released. I just continue to pray that everyone continues to take care of their Precious Precious Health and Stay Safe.

It's been almost four months since Haruma left us and I'm still seeing articles and speculations on forums, comments…
I understand and agree with both yours and Corianders feelings. If it wasn't for Haruma, I would have never taken a second look at watching JDrama's. He was an actor that put his soul into the JDrama's I had the pleasure to watch him in. My favorite out of the MANY .. was Boku No Ita Jikan and Kimi Ni Todoke. My heart is still bothered by his passing.. as having reservations of suspicions. I don't know of his private life ... but it still just didn't sit right. This was an Outstanding & Incredible Actor that I have Strong Admiration and Respect for. Yet... I just can't believe his passing made sense. As much as I Honor this young man... I can't seem to watch this last drama, or even re-watch his drama's that I've tagged favorites and always watched them over and over again. Yes... we need to be careful of what is said... but ... if there is going to be an investigation, I truly hope they complete it with no bias or others interference to cover the truth. Not so much for his fans... but also his family. This will also allow Haruma to rest in peace.
Just as the young actress Takeuchi Yuko who was from a favorite JDrama *PRIDE* who also passed away by the same circumstances, a mother of 2 ... just made no sense. Two Great Artists. I'll continue to embrace the memory of both of these Artists.... Especially Haruma. This young man brought me so much understanding of another world in his drama's. I'm someone who is 65 years old and was diagnosed with PTSD/Depression from childhood trauma. Haruma made me realize through his incredible acting, that I'm not alone... and I'm not as bad off as I always believed. Continue to Rest Well Haruma & Yuko in the Wings of Your Angels. <3 <3 <3

OMG.. THIS LOOKS AMAZING!!! I'm SO EXCITED!!!
It seems that due to this Pandemic, the C and SK drama's are taking forever to be completed and released. That's okay.. as long as they are staying safe ... waiting is not a problem for me. Everyone .... Please Continue to Take Care of You Precious Precious Health... Stay Safe... God Bless

Kim Ji Won is a good actress and one of the most versatile actresses. Her most iconic characters in drama are…
Awww.. so that is her. The one in *Heirs* the rich girl engaged to the Joon Pyo. Thank you. I'll definitely keep my fingers crossed. We all have different taste in who we like. Knowing that it's her.. well... I'll keep those concerns to myself. (Heavy sigh).
Thank you for making me aware of who she is EXOL. Stay Safe & God Bless

crossing my fingers that this is going to be good. I really admire Ji Chang Wook who is a Credit to the acting profession. I was disappointed in the past drama Backstreet Rookie, which I ended up dropping :-( . It's because I'm so fricking picky, it becomes annoying at times. just hoping this screen writer and director was worth Ji Chang Wooks time in making this drama. He is such an AMAZING & OUTSTANDING Actor... I'm always on the bandwagon when seeing his drama's come out. I'll keep a look out for this.
I don't know the female lead in here Kim Ji Won, however I've see that she's played supportive roles in drama's that I did watch .. which was *The Heirs and *To the beautiful you. Still don't recall who she is or was in those drama's.
I'm also very aware of who Kim Min Seok, who I consider a very good actor.
The trailer makes this look like it will be a good drama, but I've been fooled before. so I'll keep my fingers crossed.

there is something about watching a historical drama with no romance... and feeling as if ... the storyline is missing something and boredom sets in. There was only 1 drama that had small tidbit of romance ... but it blew the roof off. That was *The Untamed*.
On My Robot Boyfriend Dec 13, 2020
Thoroughly disappointed in this drama. However, the casts are unknown ... I've seen them in other drama's but only as supporting roles. This drama was just in my opinion, boring. It's rare that I'll see a supporting actress or actor do well in a Leading part... unless there it's from one top not screen writer and the leads have the special chemistry. The emotions were missing .. so was the connection between the two leads. Oh well... another DROPPED C-drama :-((
