wow.. my taste is way off from those who enjoyed this drama... dropped *My little Princess*... had my fingers crossed with *My Prince*.. & *My Intense Love* ... once again dropping both. The young lady who plays the FL on all these.. soured the drama's for me. I just couldn't stay focused on either drama's. I don't know if the directors feels this young lady who plays the FL has to act immature & childish in all her drama's or is it that she just doesn't fair well in her abilities as an actress? (Heavy Sighhhh) Oh well.. hopefully thing will look up
IKR.... You should be the both Casting and Production Director. You know your stuff... whereas some of them don't. Continue to take care of your precious health, Stay Safe & God Bless Neaa
As much as I admire the Main Leading Casts... After watching several episodes, it just couldn't hold my interest, which I ended up dropping it. GGGRRRRR.... I had high hopes with this drama.. maybe.. just maybe.. I'll return another time and try again... :))
Well... this young man has definitely caught my attention & respect. I first saw this young multi - talented Artist in the movie "Double World" ... from there I look for him on Youtube due to the Ost in the movie. This Young man Is INCREDIBLE.... A FORCE!!! No wonder the fans are going crazy!!! It's well deserved... BRAVO HENRY!!! Wishing you many more blessings in you future endeavors. God Bless & Stay Safe
It boggles my mind why this young actor is in so many supportive roles... when it's a dead shot given that he deserves more MAIN LEADING ROLES. I've seen this young man in romantic J-movies & drama's and he's someone that I admire. He's an actor that deserves full acknowledgement of his acting ability. He's better than some J-drama actors I've seen.. lol. Hopefully he'll continue to rise in J-drama's with Leading Roles. Wishing him many blessings in his endeavors for the future.
The Heart hurts to see someone that gave so much joy ... with your smiles, laughter & sharing with us a special part of you. Haruma.. you were one of few that showed how truly AMAZING you were in each and every drama & movie . Many of Us will truly miss you, yet continue to keep the memory with the legacy you left us through you drama's and movies. You were a Rarest of Gems, a young man that went too soon. A lighted Candle ... a Warm Prayer ... Now that you're in the Arms of the Angels Haruma .... Rest In Peace.
OMG... he was such an amazing actor, and I'm sure he was just as amazing in real life as well. I first had the pleasure to watch this young man in "Boku no Ita Jikan (2014)"... a drama that I still to this day watch over and over. His numerous drama's & movies that I've seen him in, always had me growing more admiration & respect for him as an actor. The Japanese drama industry has lost a wonderful talent. My heart & prayers go out to those loved ones he left behind. Rest In Peace Haruma Miura
Thank you for your insight on this rom com as you is in my top 5 because the two main leads are very dear to me.…
Yes, I've seen Song Seung Heon in that drama featuring his ex-girlfriend at the time who was his leading lady. I've also had the pleasure to admire his characters in *When a man in love*, *Summer Scent*, *Black* and quite a few others. However, I have to confess... ****Dinner Mate**** hit the all time high for me featuring this young actor. I'm just hoping this is not the last of his drama's. Which I've noticed that it may be the last... crossing my fingers that they just haven't updated his list yet. He's an amazing actor ... especially holding a Leading Character. Along with the young actress that he starred with here in Dinner Mate Ms. Seo Ji Hye.. I wish them both many blessings in their future endeavors. Take Care, Stay Safe and God Bless Linger. Thank you for your comment. :)

I do have to mention, that even though the kissing scenes seemed a bit awkward for her.... the chemistry was definitely there. I can understand that she also may have been a bit shy & possibly starstruck. This young actor ( I say *young actor*, because he's 2 years younger than my oldest daughter. lol) Song Seung Heon is one of those very Rare Diamonds that any woman would love to be close two, not to mention have a kissing scene with him. I'm sure in a few days time... I'll watch it again.
Watch the BTS of those intimate scenes at https://www.instagram.com/dinner_couple/ . There's no doubt that SJH…
tsutsuloo you're definitely someone that can bring out that "Fact" Factor...lol. Thank you so much. I have to say... the kissing scenes will now seem to me as part comedy ... not intimate. I must concur with your outlook about having an intimacy coordinator to educate the leading lady on what should have been...lol. Thank you tsutsuloo for your kind response to my comment. Hope all is well with you and your family. Take Care & Stay Safe... God Bless.
Thank you for adding this Warm Caring Enlightening Drama. This has definitely made the top 5 listing as favorites. This 10 Star Golden Cast... made it a drama that I've embraced. With laughter, frustration, Tears & misunderstanding of those we look at being ok... but in reality suffer from an illness that effects so many lives. We can't turn our backs for too long when it comes to certain situations in life. This was a teaching tool.
Song Seung Heon: His character is one that you'll hold onto and only want the best. The struggles he deals with in a love life... well lets just say... hold onto your heart. Excellent Excellent portrayal of his character, which is not surprising in the least.
Seo Ji Hye: This young lady/actress is new to me.. however she hit the ball right out of the park. The only critique is her kissing scenes with Song Seung Heon, look so uncomfortable for her. Why? I have no clue... having someone with Song Seung Heon stature kissing me.. even for pretend, I would just melt in his arms. LOL... this is an old lady's ranting!!!
Jung Jae Hyuk & Son Na Eun perfect fit with their characters. Son Na Eun... sassy, selfish and conceded, yet her classiness came out in the end. BRAVO. She showed the colors of being a true lady. Jung Jae Hyuk... this kid... needs an Golden Award for his portrayal of the character. It's never, never easy to embrace a character that is suffering from an illness. Yet he managed this hook line and sinker. I've seen all types of actors/actresses in these type of role... but Jung Jae Hyuk took this by storm. BRAVO BRAVO. To conclude... This drama is going to be one that I will definitely return to watch. Take Care Everyone... God Bless & Please Please Continue to take care of you very Precious Health.
Mr. Song Seung Heon you're a force to be reckoned with... Multi-Talented and of course you're one of many that are GQ Handsome, but what I feel makes you extra special is the deepness of your eyes. I hope *Dinner Mate* will not be your last drama. I've seen this young actor in several of his drama's & a few movies... and each time he's proven that he can embrace any character and bring a reality to it. I truly wish him the very best in his future endeavors.
I agree.....script was mah and several characters were not fully developed. Poor Allen....not his fault.
Very True, it's not his fault. However.. he still has that charisma. There will always be 1 bad apple (aka script) in the basket. Take Care Baddiepanda, stay safe & God bless!
Allen Ren is AMAZING, and I know I shouldn't compare his other characters that he has played in the past, since the story lines are different etc. However... I'm going too.. lol. I'll continue to stay attached to his Character in ****The Destiny of White Snake**** and leave it as #1 when it comes to historical fantasy. Then #2 will be *Under the Power*, didn't care too much for the script, but enjoyed watching his character. AS for this Love a Lifetime... OMG.. No Comment, I truly think the script is a lacking something... and I just can't seem to understand Allen's Character's purpose. I really feel that the script and the director failed here.
I had high hopes with this drama.. maybe.. just maybe.. I'll return another time and try again... :))
Take Care, Stay Safe and God Bless Linger. Thank you for your comment. :)
