I've read that this young actress has always held Supportive Roles. Pleasantly to know that after watching her being a female Lead in *Girlfriend*... I was very impressed by her acting ability. I'm looking forward to seeing this young lady more in Main Leading Roles.
i just finished this series, while it doesn't still have the last 4 subbed episodes ㅠㅠ i managed to watch…
Agree Sangri.. this is a Sweet drama. It finished on May 4, 2020 and we have not yet been given the privilege to see the remaining episodes 33 to 36 subbed. (smh). I've seen & dropped recently added drama's that just don't measure up to this one that have been subbed and completed. I have been keeping a close eye on several sites to see if any the remaining episodes have been subbed.... but still No Luck!!! (smh). It's literally driving this Old Lady crazy (64 years)...lol. I'm Hooked on this Drama now, but my fault I should have never started to watch it without it being totally completed. Well, hopefully with fingers crossed and a lot of *Begging for episodes 33-36 to be Subbed* we'll get out wish. lol Take Care Sangri, Stay Safe!!!
I have to agree with the comments about the drama *Bride of Habaek*... HOWEVER to be fair.. In my own personal opinion .. the drama itself was terrible. Movies & Drama's are solely dependent on 2 important factors... #1 *The Script & #2 *The Director, shortly following the acting casts. If the script is lacking, than no matter how amazing an actor/actress is.. they can't save a dying script. We tend to forget that the Director is the one that calls the shots with each actor & actress when it comes to how to express themselves etc. So if the actor or actress seem to be lacking in a drama... I tend to wonder, is it them or did the director just not *Get It? Hence the actor or actress following his direction suffered by getting negative comments from viewers regarding their acting* I never see anything negative being said when it comes to the Director... lol. I've seen maybe 3 or 4 drama's featuring this young actress. In only 1 I didn't care for her, and that was *Bride of Habaek. However, the few others.. she was pretty good. I put her above 1 actress (who I will keep nameless) for sure that shouldn't keep getting lead roles with 5 star actors because of her lack of acting skills... lol, however I'm sure she probably has major connections in the entertainment industry. Shin Se Kyung may not be a Great actress for some, but then there are others who look at her as being an actress that deserves the Respect of her acting abilities... I'm one of them. I see that there is no more further drama's that she is starring in since *Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung* . Hopefully she is not totally off the grid with dramas.
Such a pleasant article. Thank you for sharing Ugly Duckling. As for myself, I had a few that I got started with Asian Drama's, not really friends. They were my care givers.. one young lady I started her with **Destiny of White Snake** I was watching it and she was on her lunch break and from then on she was hooked. My other Care Giver I started her on ***10 miles of Peach Blossoms aka Eternal Love. Then there is my God given adopted daughter, she just didn't care for Asian drama's at all.. especially when you have to read the sub titles... HOWEVER, one day she was here visiting and I was watching ***The Untamed*** lol... well, I'm sure you figured out by now.. she lost that fight. lol. I started out watching my first dramas on video disc 1st was *Jumong and then *Chuno. Mind you those where a lot of watching, especially when rented through the library. I fell in love with Asian drama's way back in then. As time went by, I forgot all about them, until one day I was told about a site that I can watch Asian drama's... that is when I found KA and watched my first drama *Empress Ki*. I consider myself grateful to have the ability to continue to watch Amazing Asian drama's... and admire all the hard work of those who do all the subbing and looking into the requests of the viewers. Please continue to take care of Your Precious Health, Stay Safe and God Bless All of You through this time of Chaos.
lol... and I though I was the only anxious one for this drama to come out. I've been crossing my fingers and constantly watching for Tears of Heaven (2020) to rear it's head. You can tell it's probably going to be one hell of a blockbuster drama!!!
I'm looking forward to *Broker*, Definitely ***The Oath of Love***, Of Course ***Never Say Goodbye***. Keeping fingers crossed that they will be added soon to KA. I'm thankful for MDL's staff's hard work on putting all the information together. Please continue to take care of your precious health, stay safe and God bless you and your family.
I only know a few .. so.. Congrats to Jung Dong Hwan for the lifetime achievement award. Congrats Kang Ki Young, You'll always be Amazing. Stay Safe and Many More Blessings to you!!! As for the Sky Castle, saw the previews and wasn't interested. I also haven't heard of the other drama. However... I guess congrats, even though I don't know how good these drama are. Never will since they are not really my cup of tea.
WOW... Talk about Extreme Excitement. Hopefully KA will add the majority of these. I'm a Historical, Romantic, comedy Grandma ...lol. Thank you SO much for taking the time to put together and send out a list. Continue to take care of your precious health.
More talent than you ... I'm sure. However, that is your opinion with "ROFL". so it's not a problem to block those who have nothing better to do but be hateful and disrespect others opinions. Obviously you have nothing better to do with your life.
I agree with some of the comments regarding what has happened to this young actress. Drug abuse is (in my personal opinion) an illness. Being from the U.S of A.... seeing this among those in the entertainment business is not unusual (sadly). However, I know for a fact the high stress level it is for entertainers... the on-going pleasing of everyone, bowing down to demands that you must do or else kind of situations. Pressure from all sides, whether it's your family, you're extended family, your management, friends or even your fans. Under the Pressure ... Under the Stress is just lightly describing a few of the feelings that will go out of control... lost ... confused... and along comes a spider with that perfect escape... even for a bit. Yes, drugs are addictive... especially if you don't have that strength to say NO, or maybe you did have it once, but then something is happening in your life that broke that barrier to say NO down. It's an illness that is misunderstood by many.. and harshly judged by the majority. I thank God that he put a fear in me when it came to street drugs.. even questioning drugs prescribe by my doctor (lol). Yet, I can't judge, because it's not personally happening or happened to me. However, the law is the law... and in certain situations when it comes to an addiction, I truly believe that the law should be amended that to allow an addicted defendant to get the help needed for the 1st or even 2nd offense. However, 30 days or even 3 months in not sufficient enough for any addict that has been doing drugs for years to kick the habit. The cravings will always be there.. especially if they are approached by the person that started them on it to begin with... whether it's a friend, co-worker, or even worse, a family member. The time sentenced, should be the time served in a strict rehabilitation, do those even exist? Strict meaning... just like being in prison. Strict visitation regulations, volunteer working in the Rehab facility. This young actress is not running from her responsibility.. she's facing it head on. It's just sad that it had to come to all this for her to see her destruction. She has lost so much and given up her hopes due to all this. I can only wish her the best with her health from this point forward.
Wow... you're something else. I pretty sure that the reason Ceki put this information out there, was not to put…
obviously you will stay with your "Fear-monger & Paranoia" status, which you have every right to do. They are you feelings... so ... in the end of things, I'll just agree to disagree with you. Once again it's my personal opinion that you went way over the top with the statistic's when this article WAS just to INFORM everyone WHY there will be Chinese Historical Drama's put on DELAY. However you're OVER-THE-TOP comment regarding the filming: "Logically, this is the best time to film because no crowds and traffic ruining your work." WAS in my OPINION below LOW. I don't know what age bracket you're in, however... obviously to make a comment such as that, joking or not.. was a below the belt hit for those who are trying their best to stay healthy in China. Makes me think you're intelligence is below average if that, nor is your empathy. Once again, you have the right to your own opinion... as sad and pathetic it may be. Just as I have the right to mine, this will end this ridiculous conversation with my agreement that I'll agree to disagree with your thought process. Karma is just around the corner anyway. Have a great day :)
