They wouldn't make 14 eps out of leads falling in love in the first episode and then communicating openly
It's just lazy writing. The first episode led us to believe that they could have a different dynamic but nah, let's stick to the same old recipes! Let them be interested in each other, then immediately let sth come up that makes them stop talking like normal people, introduce romantic rivals and family trauma blablabla" They don't even bother anymore. I loved how fast the first conflict was resolved and was hoping that the story would keep getting more interesting but now I fear they'll drag these dumbass misunderstandings as long as they can.
I'm so mad! It started off so good, why introduce the same old shitty tropes??? I wanted them to be different! I wanted them to communicate openly and be able to trust each other! Whyyy 😫
I don't understand why people feel bad about the age difference - it happens often in real life, and it's okay…
I wouldn't mind the age gap if they didn't portray ML as a (much) younger man. He doesn't act, dress or talk his real age at all. His mother obviously is just a couple of years his senior, his younger brother could be his son. Why cast an older actor and then make him act like an immature young man? I'm guessing because he wanted the role. That's what makes it awkward to me.
Her father's new wife is clearly trying to throw her off her game with those manuscripts. Looks like it'll have the opposite effect tho. Can't wait for the finale!
this the first time I've seen a FL who is the evil one. Usually, it's the ML who is just an awful person.like,…
I hate her so much! She is supposed to be so smart but made them aware that the woman was ML's mother🙄 And has the audacity to tell him how he's supposed to feel about the situation she put him in! Her character is so inconsistent- are you smart or stupid? A journalist or a stupid teenager?
Just finished ep 7 and dang! How tf did the big guy from Türkiye let go first and the others held on for another 30 minutes??😫 What a disappointment! The Mongolians are truly insane, I love watching their matches!
This feels more and more like it's written by a (young) teenager. Everyone is so fckn immature and cartoonish. FL starts yelling like a 5 year old when ML suggests they work together but she's totally okay with covering the suicide story, even breaking into and hiding in his personal space. Do you have morals or not?? And how fast of a recovery was that?? How is she not in bed, weak af but walking around the hospital all day long? (EDIT: Apparently she was not fine but still didn't seem even the slightest bit unwell until she collapsed. And the day after her 2nd surgery she's up and walking around again as if nothing happened...) Also that trick she pulled w/ the bodyguard was straight out of a cartoon. He didn't see her doing that even tho he was looking straight ahead? 🙄 I'll stop here because apparently you have to switch off your brain for this. Just one more thing: the actress playing ML's mother is just 12 years older than him 🫠
Ep 1: - Why does FL who is supposed to be a bodyguard look down all the time when she should be alert and on her toes when out with her boss? - Why does FL hide when the stepdaughter arrives? - Why does the stepdaughter go around looking for her like a mad person? - Why does the old man let her? - " How could family do that?" when she literally has the worst parents
Yeah, doesn't matter, I'm out. The characters are boring to me, as is the story.
