I think you might have missed that. The Emperor was NOT going to let him off, that's why there was the whole manhunt…
slightly dumb fr lol Considering the king's character I would have thought that he'd at very least kill the doctor after he saved NH. It felt like he did nothing at all and waited for the plot to come to him - which of course he did lmao
I really enjoyed the begging and middle of this. The humor, the acting... But skipped so much of the last episodes. I hated everything involving the screenwriter. So much of it didn't make sense or wasn't explained properly. And he was so over the top. Another one they should've killed way back is CGH smh The emperor let him off when he tried to kill the crown prince! and why? Because of a deal with the physician ? When was this man ever this laid back and forgiving?? Just because they wanted to keep him til the end. Lazy writing 101.
The screenwriter is sus af and I don't get why FL isn't asking him the right questions. If this is all so new to him how does he even know what they have to do and what the consequences of their actions will be?
Not a whole ass army coming in through the back door and unnoticed lmao And the other army waiting for all the stabbing to be finished before they go after CGH
Yeah, I don't care, they will never make me not hate the emperor. He treated ML like shit even before his wife died and never gave him a chance. He doesn't deserve a redemption arc.
The first 6 episodes were kinda believable and interesting but wtf was ep 7?? FL is supposed to be a smart lawyer, and she didn't think to change her lock? And immediately call the cops when she saw he smashed her apartment? Neither does she call the cops and an ambulance to safe Yoko's life, instead she leaves her and rushes to the guy who beat the woman up and threw her down the stairs to do what exactly??
Edit: I've finished it and honestly, I hated the ending. Not that ML got what he deserved, that was chef's kiss but that whole trial was ridiculous to me. If this is how the justice system in Japan works holy f***! There was even video evidence of him beating up his wife on the street and the prosecution still goes: "FL is the violent one". Seriously everything the prosecutor said made my blood boil.
This whole episode 21 was a waste of my damn time! I don't care for the sister and her delusions ffs Met the man twice and thinks she's in love. Meanwhile the dude can't differentiate between pity and love. Gimme a break!
