The "good" guy/s don't always win, the bad guys oftentimes get away with shit and we don't always get closure. So yes, I'm satisfied with this ending. I didn't even need to see what happens to the money or even the baby. For me, they could've let all of that out because in the end it doesn't change anything.
Hmm...I found ML's story arc kinda boring tbh I hope we get a third season so we get the conclusion of all the setup. The only character I was invested in this season was Di Lin. He's the most interesting character for me. I want to see the "brothers" interact more. I have a feeling that ML's premonition will come true- hopefully in season 3!
I 've watched 3,5 episodes. I'm not feeling it. The pacing is off, the dialogues don't work for me. The fights or rather the beatings go way too long before ML gets to fight back and the villains (his dad included) are way too generic for me. Also, I understand that they want us to feel the grief, the desperation and the toxicity of his family and the situation they are in but argh those scenes and dialogues between them drag so hard! I don't think I can finish this.
why is everyone hating? love triangles are like... the most common plot ever in k-dramas, why are yall surprised?…
Not surprised but disappointed lol This has only 10 episodes and the main couple's relationship isn't even established enough. Plus we know that the "third act-breakup" is inevitable...That leaves us with, what, 1 episode of romance in a romance show?
Who TF needed this side-quest?? I couldn't care less about FL's former boss, her snobbish ex or how she stupidly took the fall for him! I don't even know the details (if there were any) cos I couldn't for the love of me concentrate and read the subs. Also, ML shouldn't stoop so low and run after her! She's being rude to him for no reason and snickering with her ex.. Just leave her be, dude! Instead he's clingy and embarrassingly jealous in front of the ex.
I gave this another shot but this time I quit for real. Especially after the preview for ep 7.
The actors did a really good job but the romance was a) weird in the beginning and b) way too rushed for me. They were head over heels way too quickly. And 2ML went from caring to jealous to insane in 2 seconds lmao I'd say this is one of the shows that needed a couple of more episodes.
her character is like this, because she is not the biological daughter,so her mother hates her so much and always…
Yes, I get that. It could've been the other way round tho. She could've been a strong and smart character *because* they treated her like that. Because she had to find ways to survive all those years. But they wrote her like this and I have to accept it, even tho it's just frustrating to me that she is always the damsel in distress (up until the episode I'm at).
Just finished ep 5. So far I'm not impressed with the character of Jae-i. I hate that the writer made her so weak and dumb. At first I hoped that she'd be fierce and smart but she has no common sense and needs to be saved all the time. She's like an object, I hate that!

So I'll give it another try.
