Totally agreed. I read the CEO's interview. I really appreciate his approach. I am not sure if he meant all of it, but still like you said, he took a big gamble by announcing his support opening for KSH and that too in a conservative society like SK. I feel there will be other brands that will follow the suit.

In all this controversy, so many people like not only staff and the actors but also old classmates, batchmates and friends came out to support him when all he literally said is nothing but an apology for the whole chaos and the misunderstanding, is a huge thing in itself.
How many people and that too in an industry like showbiz where most people like to put other people down at the tiniest opportunity that they get, would do that in a middle of a serious controversy!
yes, there were a handful of people who started criticizing the tiniest thing that were taken out of context and shared as a proof of bad conduct, but they were also refuted not even by the actor or his agency but by fellow mates who explained the real situation.

People are never perfect. But he is still a fine specimen of a human to have had such a wide ranging support and effect on the people around him.

Exactly, this is the point that I wanted to make since he released that statement. People saying that he accepted everything...I was like 'Where?'

I am done with Dominos.. More than being a fan of KSH, I actually condemn their approach in this whole matter, even if it was someone else, I would've felt the same. And there are other great pizza brands in my country. Dominos wasn't that great to begin with.

Yeah,....and it's so lame....if you are against abortion go fight your country's legislation, why come after him for making a legal and sensible decision. How immature is that!

I am personally of the opinion that the allegations or any personal life thing need not be there in the bio.....but if insisted then it should at least mention that news sites released a substantial evidence on both parties which pointed at KSH actually being innocent and abortion being a mutual decision.

I can't help thinking that may be this is still a better situation for him after doing the mistake of engaging with the toxic woman in the first place.

Imagine him breaking up for good last year when she was lying to him. Soon later she was pregnant, so she would've blackmailed him to take responsibility for the baby. And this issue would've been leaked and he would have been pressured into taking responsibility for it. He wouldn't have had the opportunity to star in Start-up, nor a fandom this strong. He would've been broke and with a kid and in an unhappy relationship for the rest of his life.

Thanks for pointing that out. I certainly don't want to encourage people who are already stupidly arguing that 'does seaweed soup wipe off the blood from his hands'. That's about the stupidest thing I have heard recently and in a country where abortion is legal.

I don't think they are going to release any statements regarding this. Salt already said yesterday that they don't have anything to say about it which is basically neither a confirmation nor a refutation. So it's pretty clear that they don't want to drag this issue any longer.
If they release a statement stating that the evidence is true, it will challenge the ex's side to release some more evidence which they will want to frame against KSH and that is again going to drag the matter. Given how Dispatch's claims are not challenged even by the ex's side and the lawyers says a lot. And Salt Ent and KSH are like....here is all the evidence, you decide now ..we are not saying anything when it's all in the daylight.

Ok, sure. I understand your job but can't help but feel a bit salty(no pun intended) because Salt Ent or KSH is not likely to release any statement about this. In fact Salt Ent neither confirmed nor refuted the claims in their statement yesterday because both the actor and the agency didn't want to drag the matter since the beginning.

What happens in that case?

Fill me up on this...because I didn't follow the controversy to the end....from the chats that Dispatch published, I actually had the perception that she was really wild and manipulative in the relationship. I was like dude, you shouldn't date fellow actors if you are going to be this possessive (though it would've been unhealthy even in a normal relationship). He did seem to have suffered a lot of mental damage because I was actually into his drama 'Time' (when he was allegedly in a relationship with Seo Ye ji). And I remember thinking like what is happening to him...he looked gaunt, unhealthy although he was still acting very well in the series. And then his abrupt departure from the drama due to health issues. I felt extremely sad given that I actually started watching that drama for him and not the idol actress,

But yeah, I still think Seo Ye Ji is a great actress, having watched her in IONTBO. And I will totally watch her new drama if it's good. But this was the main reason why the thought of people suddenly expressing their wish to see Kim Seon Ho X Seo Ye Ji pair in a drama caught me unawares. I would be very scared for KSH if that ever happens.

It is a highly sexist country no doubt about that....although my country isn't perfect one either...but yeah....Sexism clearly showed all over the world but mainly in SK when the initial post got out and people just believed the account of the woman which had 0 evidences. And it is still sexist in the reaction after dispatch revealed when there were people who (may be a minority) still didn't want to believe Dispatch's account which was with evidences.

Yup, like you mentioned the last 10 mins were absolutely riveting. There should be an attempt of 'putting the furniture back' at the very least. And the way the interrogator says 'there's no evidence....for now'. Like what the hell. I mean I understand the intention and it's relevance with real criminals who are let away but then there shouldn't be an inherent sexist bias in people. Here are the cases where feminism is taken extremes. It's like when there was/is gender equality the situation is obviously not nice and even when there is this attempt of removing that inequality, it directly plunges to the other extreme of the spectrum when there is again no balance.

I mean.....I agree with all the sentiments that you expressed. But he did some ordinary and common mistakes. I still find him very naive for getting involved with a woman like that, having unprotected sex, not breaking up early enough when he had these hunches and breaking up over the phone. (sigh.....)people shouldn't put him on the pedestal of 'nice guy' in the first place and even now in this scandal. People are always 'work in progress' are my final thoughts.

Hey, i saw this. Omg...I am speechless. I want to punch that male interrogator. How could these people not have the conscience that you do owe an apology and clearance of his name when all the evidence suggests that he is innocent. At least he can press charges for defamation against thr girl but yeah...like what does that change...like Alex said....his reputation and the humiliation he felt......things are terribly wrong in our society. I can't imagine KSH now being in this situation. He should in the future take up such role, he would completely slay it no doubt.
