I agree. This was my least favorite episode. Nothing was his fault and yet everyone blamed him. You would think…
I would have liked them to apologise as well...but given that it's only Du shik who knows the entire story and none of the other parties know what really happened except that they lost/almost lost the person extremely close to them, so they are not to be at fault either. I can't even imagine how devastating it is for someone to lose their spouse and you also ha e a small baby to look after. It's a helpless situation and a terrible loss to recover. Initially people are in disbelief and would resort to blaming something or someone in order to have some kind of closure. But in the end, everyone realises that it's always pointless to blame. Du shik blaming himself is his personality trait and how sensitive he is. It's a character virtue as well as flaw. For me, it was a nicely written scenario. I totally understood hos trauma. No where did it feel that the PTSD was unfounded. It was a horrible situation and an extremely well written main character.
At the start of the series I didn't think this way but since past few episodes I have this pronounced feeling…
Well I certainly don't hate her or have any sort of misogyny as someone stated( the characters that I have mentioned are all individualistic with a good emotional intelligence irrespective of their gender, Hwa Jeong is literally my favourite character in this show) I just stated that I felt like that in the last few episodes and only talked about real life scenario. I very much want them to be together in the drama. She has streaks of being shallow and superficial not that she's entirely like that. I just pondered about her compatibility and anyways from ep 14, I appreciate that finally she is being really level headed and patient. We are seeing her character really mature now. What was bothering me in the previous episodes was her obsession with the ideology that people that qualified have to be in a mega city else they are wasting their time and resources and people living abundantly in country side and being content with that ( which she can see with her own eyes) is still not happiness. She has asked this question to him in many episodes and he has also made it very clear) There is nothing wrong with couples wondering about each other's future plan and it's a very natural progression but in her case she she seems to be stuck with the idea that it has to be seoul for him and anything less than that is him not reaching his potential. And if she sticks with that narrow attitude then that's no growth for her. But anyways with the recent progress she will have that growth as well. I am not sure if chief Hong is too ideal or not. I see him sufficiently flawed as a character. It's pronounced with his dealing of the trauma, with his denial of his own feelings till ep. 9.
At the start of the series I didn't think this way but since past few episodes I have this pronounced feeling that Hye Jin is actually not that suitable for Du Shik. Obviously I want them together in this drama and all ..but just considering this in a real life scenario, I don't think it would be a good match. He's way too considerate, kind, wise and matured for her.... she's has a streak of being shallow and superficial which overshadows her kindness. She's just not matured enough...which is a bit disappointing. Given how even the side characters are written, it's obviously intentional. Eg. Hwa Jeong, Chun jae, Eun Cheol, Pyo Mi Seon, Bora, I jun, Ji PD, Writer Wang .....are just amazing characters. Them along with Du shik are very inspirational characters which are still very human and flawed.
OMG yes. She also sometimes dress like teen idol, like the one after she played golf. While on the other hand…
Ohhh yeah...they just got everything right with him...like there's no debate ....even his minimalistic tshirts are eye catching. And then the shirts with rolled up sleeves... way too handsome....
Please give Hye Jin some normal and good clothes. What was that green dress in ep 13!!! In ep 12, what was that…
I am not sure what goes wrong with her dressing sense sometimes.....like sometimes she's wearing really normal clothes like when she was helping with the delivery scene...just a nice pink top and pair of jeans...and the next moment they have her wearing that wrap pink shirt dress while wanting to catch up on some sleep. The blue top and mini black skirt when her parents were around was so embarrassing....it makes her look so repulsive especially when literally everyone around is wearing normal clothes....
Please give Hye Jin some normal and good clothes. What was that green dress in ep 13!!! In ep 12, what was that pink shirt suit with one flap out....Like even if you have SMA wearing those outfits, they are not coveted.
I thought Hyejin's aegyo was natural. Dusik also uses aegyo and does cutesy stuff with Hyejin in return whenever…
I see. Oh I am SMA fan too. But after yesterday's episode made me realise that KSH is actually absolutely killing it in this role despite sky high expectations and crazy fandom. His acting is just really really good and he does outshine an actress like SMA as well. As far as SMA being his best leading lady, I have to moderately disagree to that. Lee Yoo Young was amazing with KSH in 'I am crazy for you'. She also responded really well to his kisses...extra satisfaction point😅( I am a bit sore after Homcha kisses...they were in no way bad but he just seemed to do all the work ..while she just opened her mouth so thay she is not labelled a dead fish...given their chemistry and dynamics I expected better..and also since the characters are so in love...it just didn't reflect from her side...those scenes made me look at her as an actress and not as Hye Jin herself)

You summed it very well. Exactly that's how I felt as a viewer even though I do consider Shin Min Ah as a good actress, I am a bit disappointed but yeah.... that's not gonna affect me being obsessed with Homcha🤗

You have to agree at some point that Kim Seon Ho is actually a better actor than Shin Min Ah....Her cutesy scenes did feel a bit irritating and artificial..but his were very convincing and natural.
We have so many cheesy romance for our sikhye couple this ep. You just follow your heart and live your best life.Well…
I feel like he is far more convincing and intense in the kisses and her otherwise clingy nature and intensity doesn't reflect in the kisses. Hence, it's hot but still feels lacking due to unequal efforts.
I feel like Shin min ah didn't kiss Seon Ho properly at ep 12 end. She was also smiling in the middle of the kiss(out of place for thr situation)...and he was being all intense....sorry the intensity and longing was missing on her side ...it felt like he was doing all the work It was hot and nice but then majorly because of him...
Agree. I certainly like it better than Vincenzo (9.0), IOTNBO (9.0), Prison Playbook (9.0) and My Mister (9.1).
I see. As a fellow drama lover, I would definitely encourage you to give it a try once again whenever you can and watch it for at least 4-6 episodes. I know that some people thought the drama was slow for the first few episodes and picks up pace later on. Personally, I slept upon it for a long time because it looked too melodramatic(which it wasn't) and only binge watched it a few weeks ago. It's a magnificent portrayal of human behavior, extremely impactful and a true healing drama with a very strong message for the society.
I think what people hate in goblin is the end, but I still love it anyways. Love this poll!
I just didn't find it interesting and it's surprising because I like all the actors individually....but I couldn't stand the story and dropped it. I have never even felt like going back and completing it. Guess it's just not my cup of tea.
That's the good thing about opinions, there is mostly never a wrong one because it's subjective. For example I…
I share your opinion, I just couldn't complete CLOY or something in the rain( it started really well but got lost track halfway through) or Goblin for the same reasons.....it just got uninteresting. On the other hand, Vincenzo was entertaining and thrilling from start to end.
Why would Cha Eun Woo and Nam Joo Hyuk even feature in a list where we are talking about acting? Much less character actors. Most of them actually don't fall into character acting category though.
