The standard K-drama rhytm brings a break-up in ep. 8 (or 9 depending on the total number eps), so I am curious if they follow the standard or not...

I like how it is directed, camera and music - they create the feeling of an indie movie, rare nowadays.

It is yet not clear what it is. In the first episodes it looked like the standard reaction of a male natural sciences student joining a research group in the same time with a female student. It gave a clear taste of reality, while the actual obsession goes much above the feeling of a possible real situation.

I do not know what is coming, yet what I saw until now makes me think that it has too much art in it to resonate with the average K-drama watchers. An art award should be already insured, but not s high rate in MDL

Maybe because it is missing clear lines and because in many places it feels bland like a filler.
The quality of writing seems to have an abrupt jump down in this episode, in my opinion.
Excellent actors can cover up a bad script only till some extend.

Very weak ep. 09. There are some mistakes in the takes, too: e.g. she is wearing the ring after they put them out for the month.

I lke the FL and the music; till ep. 4 it seems carefully written and directed.

According to MDL, the director passed away in August 2026, so this seems to be his last work. In the MDL list of his works I saw many names that I heard of, some with high MDL scores.

I still like it after 4th episode, though I'm afraid the writer might have got stuck now or will do very soon.

I really hated the more or less hidden advertisement for that ugly car.

Until now it is well researched and consequently very realistic. Good job!

A surprisingly funny episode 21. Cuteness exposed!

They are ignorant and disrespect all viewers, because writer and director obviously invested 0 time in research, they put random things instead. Even 1st year students know that they should do research and analyze everything, yet this too well payed arrogant people invested zero time. Quality is something different.

I mean: this part is terrible bad written and directed. Fantasy does not mean they may do random things. Examples: 1) the exercise on "walking on the hands while a peer holds the feet" 2) the basic judo moves are "branded" into the body of a judo player since first years of training, etc. And one week of training does not make a champion either. All this is common sense. Everything else is plain BS, yet the writer and director invested 0 time in research (not only in this case!), they do NOT deserve their money, in my opinion.

Nice music, but why do they use for some parts Japanese music? Do they target especially that audience?

The first two eps are at cinematographic quality. Direction and camera work were excellent, writing was in line. No comparison to the ever repeating never ending non-sense we see around. Let's hope they can keep the high standards they've set!

A refreshing start!

It is kind to see it like this, yet they __do not__ convey it at all. The writer or director or both has/have no clue, no research and no interest in it. I bet even an AI would have done a better job here. Well, if they write for 4th grade children, that might work, I do not care. In my opinion, they are spoiling the work of the whole team: cute good actors, light, camera, make up etc work hard and do their best, they deserve at least a researched and thoughtful script. At this point writer and director failed lamentably. Let us hope they're not keeping it at this level.

This genre is generally poorly written and this drama is no exception. The body strength dos not disappear over night and especially sportsmen have an excellent body memory that is independent of the mind. In this respect the writer is unacceptable weak. This is not fantasy, it is ignorance. Even worse: the writer is considering the watchers dumb and the director is playing along. A NO GO!
