This should be marked as a classical, a *must watch* for every k-drama fan.

A beautiful Masterpiece!
On Strong Girl Bong Soon Feb 8, 2026
This drama appears quite high in the lists with "strong female leads", yet the writer made the FL "strong" only in the physical sense, hence this drama is exactly the opposite of what one could expect.

Title Dear.M
Standard brainless teenie series, nothing special, cute actors, very unrealistic and with a boring ending. Definitively not worth 12 hours watching it.

Title Aema
It is just a longer indie movie with splurged NF funds. As usual NF confuses spending with creating. Let us hope that the crew was at least payed.

Excellent actors and music; I assume the script was difficult to write to be allowed and some times was too diluted or simply off; 12 condensed episodes would have felt better to me that those 16. Yet compared to some other terrible waste of money and resources of contemporary and highly praised series, this is clearly on the good side. It is worth watching if you can jump over or speed up some times.
On Recipe for Love Feb 3, 2026
Astonishing weak first 2 episodes. Could it go up? The previous the series were able to keep the level of the first third of their time before crashing lamentably. No chance to approach the level of "Once again" in the near future?

I gave up after 6 episodes of about 85 minutes each of slapstick comedy. Maybe later is better, but I lost interest for now.

kdrama about languages but none of the characters know how to communicate
and with bad English subs, too, as usual on NX. Irony? No, just sadness.

What a Dumb plot hole. In EPISODE 1 FL uses "GOOGLE TRANSLATE" mind u in JAPAN to talk to Another person.…
The writers/editors/directors/producers don not care about 'details' like consistency, credibility, etc. In my opinion they are tarnishing the excellent work done by the actors and some other teams as make up, camera, etc. Since a large part of the viewers do not mind, the quality of the end product is as such. NX just wants to maximize the flow, nobody cares about quality.

The scene where Hojin takes back the LP was also improv. They mentioned it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zeJFdgljwAU&list=WL&index=2
Who needs writers, when the actors do their job? Maybe they should have done it all.

Title To the Moon
Excellent acting, not only by the three female leads, but also the less important roles are played very professionally. The music is excellent, one of my top lists. Who needs then a story? As usual, the writing is by far the weak point.
On Can This Love Be Translated? Jan 18, 2026
The quality control at NX is still so low. A small effort in quality control could improve a lot and spare some other non-sense that wastes resources. But if they care only about quantity and flow....

You know we aren't watching every single second of the plot, right. irrelevant things such as jetlag are skipped.
Professional writing is different. Would the make up team skip the work on one of the leads for some scenes? They would be fired on the place.
