Of course, not to be taken into serious, a good and creative comedy with excellent actors, very moderate and pertinent writing, the end is a bit boring.
I don't remember, maybe 7 or 8 or so. There is also a continuation a few episodes later. If you watch it, you'll discover them, they are really creative and well made advertisements, not to compare with most others.
I don't know what is coming and I saw so many stupid ends of else very good dramas that I don't want to risk a prevision. However, the first 8 episodes that I saw until now are excellent: very creative writing, top actors, perfect work of a highly professional crew. They prove that excellent kdrama sill can be created these days. Thank you, great team!
Amazing, no standard K-drama at all, despite excellent music and actors and well premises to flop the script, the writer stays absolutely creative, even the 8/12-rule is broken! Excellent! Please keep up the extraordinary good work!

If everything else is very high quality (as mostly in K-drama), poor writing will strike right away. If everything else is low quality, then poor writing isn't special anymore.

As far as I understand, the actors generally have to do what their agency tells them; I know some good actors who were given no script for long time or that were forced in bad ones - that it the reason they sometimes fight to go out of contracts or change agency when they are allowed to. It is not an easy life, even for the well appreciated ones and they have to collect enough funds for the time after the shine. I do not know exactly who is to blame for accepting the low quality script, but it happens quite often in the context of K-drama, maybe because one cannot teach creative writing. The producers do not really care: if they put well appreciated actors, people will watch almost anything. Caring about quality is what differentiates producers, directors, etc.
The writer cannot do better, that is her limit, no blame. Yet the director is responsible for accepting any garbage. Well, we may turn sound off and watch our loved actors. Or move to something else.
How can it be that the macro writing is so terrible, when actors, music, camera work, locations are so good? Saved some money using a free AI for the writing or what? Those professionals deserve much better...
I'm far behind the schedule, yet it feels so cheesy that they should put a warning, watcher may through up. It's a shame, the actors deserve a much better script.
50 episode isn't it too much?? .. that's why I left some C drama in between I can handle till 22 ep max
Yes, they are like a marathon for actors, writers, directors and all team. Most of them start well, then the level drops dramatically. As running a marathon in a competitive time isn't for everybody, so is with creating good long dramas, too. Most of them are crap, yet the good ones are way better than the mid-range 16*1.5h type dramas. The difficult part is: in order to decide if a long drama is good, you have to watch a big part of the episodes... SO giving up after some 20ies happens quite often and on good reason.
The first 2 episodes hooked me like none other series did since some time. I liked until now: + the peace + the actors + the acting + the music and the fact that each episode is rather short being quite focused: + no fillings, no 10 minutes replay and preview. Good job!
I don't understand the low score. This series has it all: several beautiful and good actors, a bitter-sweet yet overall credible story, excellent music and of course incredible good make up and camera work. It clearly overtakes many of the trashy yet higher scored non-sense around.
