In Seoul there is an area called "Kang Full's Cartoon Streets", featuring characters from his works. I've never been there, but it looks really cool - http://bbsj.kr/tour/tour_detail.php?tou_idx=1112
The man has been, and i mean this lovingly, awkward as fuck since day one...aint no way. Showing affection/expressing…
I got the feeling that DS waited a while before reuniting after his return back to south korea. He went and got rid of the director meanwhile so I think when he finally reunited, rather than being surprised/glad he was grateful to finally meet them again.
We don't know that for sure just yet... (according Kang Full's interview released 5 days ago in MMTG youtube) - what I'm worried about is that the drama is a bit political and puts US in dark shade which I'm guessing why less than aggressive marketing in the US - but I might be wrong).
Just like someone in the comments said before, it was supposed to be a delicious souffle, but it didn't quite…
I'm curious, in what ways did you feel it was rushed? I thought it was actually fine to the point it was a bit dragged out just to make sure audiences were pleased (is it just me?). For me at least, it was a perfectly baked and risen souffle.
Technically, yes happy ending with things expected to be understood without much explanation (granted it's possible, but most viewers want clear explanation).
People hate the ending because there are so many loopholes and questions not answered and the way the ML brought…
Your point is valid. Although I took HW not remembering who DJ was even if he tried until he was killed later as something intended by the "intelligent being" in the background who caused HW to live as DJ. But of course this wasn't written in the plot, so a bad writing is a valid point here.
Sometimes i dont know if this guy is good or lucky. All his drama always have good rating, yet Never knew him…
I think he's lucky. This drama garnered attention in SK mainly for the similarity to the Samsung family (and plot was based on real events). Vicenzo also had a good director and writer. Definitely lucky.
I guess KDrama strikes again with the ending. I did not have time to watch the drama after episode 8, and wanted…
The drama is actually pretty good I thought. The ending was a disappointment only because the rest were good. Skipping to the end would be a sad thing.

I agree the ending was somewhat disappointing - but this comment is only to reply to your questions. 1. HW not remembering DJ wasn't a plot hole but it was intentional so HW doesn't know how he will die later on and prepare for that in advance. So it was an intended surprise. 2. The secretary not hanging up the phone and etc. were, yes, very lame not to mention back then recording the phone call was a lot harder (generally the option being unavailable) with those type of phone models. 3. Surviving after a bullet to the head - I guess it IS possible although the chance is slim. 4. The murderous grandma was sent overseas and probably died as the current time is 20 years after DJ's death. So I guess we can forget about her. 5. Yes -- how HW brought down Soonyang was rushed like a race driver on steroid.
Yes there are similarities (in both characters and plot) to the point where I just smile and think, "how can they…
Here's another interesting bit - if it interests you at all: JTBC channel's owner family is the family of Samsung CEO's mother. It's like the drama's mother of Sung Joon (the evil grandson) and her family is the head of JTBC (although they are not in the show - their family owns JTBC and related companies). :) - To be more clear, Sung Joon is supposed to be similar to the current Samsung CEO who inherited the headship from his dad and the JTBC family has had the enmity for various reasons since the CEO days of Sung Joon's father. I'll stop here :)
