This series broke me in all the best ways, made me think, made me cry, made me reflect on society's shortcomings, and I feel not a single frame was wasted. The acting was superb, and I loved that the script didn't shy away from making us feel the helplessness of the characters by the themes it addressed. It's dark, heavy, and I feel that the last scene was talking straight to us, for us to also be less cruel to ourselves. Even if there were still untold parts of the story, what was meaningful was all the hypocrises and moral quandaries that got to the spotlight. It's a 10/10 for me.

I understand where you come from, and I also think some scenes could be done without, but they filled the show with some many comforting moments and as a BL fan I felt so represented that now I want friends like that. It was not only about the main couple, but how people could deal with things in a more open minded way, and that's what made the show so good for me.

same here. I didn't know it was 11 episodes, so I was happy at the end of today's episode showing scenes from the next one, but I already miss them

I've lost count of how many times I've rewatched it. As weird as it may sound, considering the themes addressed by this story, it's my new comfort BL and the best of 2026 so far imo

Arthit did drop out from med school in the novel, and yes, they could have added the burning scene, it gave dimension to Dao's character. There's a lot that happens after the part you stopped, I enjoyed reading the novel throughout, except for some of the special chapters at the very end.
The next couple has a novel as well, called Lately it's winter season, I found it in Wattpad, and I'm really excited for this one, although I've just begun reading the novel, the pilot video shows the actors have great chemistry, can't wait.

So many chances lost to take all the big themes raised here seriously. I was so interested when I started watching, thinking it would bring discussons about abuse, debt entrapment, domestic violence, pornography (there was even a gender diphoria coming out of nowhere in episode 9) and they only show the facts without any follow-up discussion or action whatsoever. I like the actors, but the characters development is very disjointed and therefore confusing, making it hard to engage with them. Such a shame, dropping it.
