I think this show deserves a way higher score than people are giving it. The way it deals with its subject matter is astoundingly nuanced and emotional even though it's also quite tragic. I'm so glad I had the chance to watch it and cry with it almost every single week. Wonderful, wonderful little gem of a show.
Aw I'd hoped this would be about Sakuma and Yamase but it's about the characters they play in the show within the show instead. Such a shame but I'll take anything Usa Takuma.
Episode 3 is so airbrushed you can barely make out the actors' facial features which is a shame because this looks really fun and the overediting is distracting as hell.
I went into this series without much hope. I liked the leads when they first debuted in Until We Meet again. But…
Honestly, it doesn't surprise me that this show didn't land after all. BounPrem shows tend to fall flat and I'm sure it's no coincidence that they were all directed by the same person. I'm not gonna get into it but let's just say he's probably my least favourite BL director ever with several other misses (for me) that didn't include BounPrem. I just hope they get to be directed by someone else next time 'cause they deserve a fair chance at making good on their potential for once.
Does anybody know the title of the song playing while JunXi tries texting Tuo without a reply? It goes something like "Is this love or just a softly fading light"...
