I think it's not completely black and white or either/or. Mishima definitely explored some part of it and he might be on the trans spectrum or he might not. I think the message in the end is that being authentically yourself doesn't necessarily need a label and also the conversation is very complex when you consider that when you have to explore your identity on your own sometimes you think that a certain type of attraction you feel makes you a different gender identity than what you have. I think, in the end, the meaning is about expectation and choosing for yourself and not setting such rigid walls around who you can be and love just because you have to adhere to a single word. Ultimately, in the search for oneself, many people find themselves going from one label to another because of different phases of their lives or simply because they're still figuring it out. I personally felt like that was what was happening for Mishima but it's good to reflect on it and not come to a single conclusion too!

While I always have a glimmer of hope the shows I like will somehow come back to me eventually, intellectually I'm fully aware it's not going to happen 😭😅 That is so strange that it happened tho, although not the first OR last time (let us not forget The Whisperer???). I genuinely don't understand what you're saying (what exactly does cfans and i fans mean?) but I do get the sarcasm. Saying you don't like a show isn't "creating drama", it is simply expressing an opinion. If you can't handle differing opinions from yours, don't go into comment sections. It certainly doesn't take someone not liking a show I like to ruin the whole thing for me. You're an individual, you don't have to care about other people's experience of media you love to enjoy what you enjoy and I don't have to pretend I enjoy something I hate just for the benefit of a stranger who can't take differing experiences.
Dropped this the first time 'cause it was boring me to sleep but then I had nothing else to watch and decided to give it another try after seeing some reels about the secondary couple and thinking I might have been too harsh.
