Everywhere she goes, students are jealous of her, and she enjoys the attention. However, there is something no one knows about her. In order to be number one, Ye-na is practically abused at home to prepare herself for everything. Her mother wants nothing other than the best and is hard to please. To Myung-joo, Ye-na is his only child and possession. She is suffocated by her surveillance and control, and she uses discipline as an excuse to gaslight her. Ye-na’s life isn’t her. She pretends they are a happy family and that they have no worries. Then Hae-sung transfers to Byungmoon High. She is shocked when Hae-sung openly belittles her. How dare he belittle her!
