had to procrastinate and make dinner, but i'm in the middle of it, and i just love xiao rou and hu xiu's friendship. they are very dear to me!

on ep.10 rn and i need to stop to say that xiao rou and hu xiu are the perfect example of why female friendships/relationships will always be special because both of them are so mature, encouraging, and supportive of each other and have such wonderful emotional intelligence. truly, the emotional labor they do is so nice to see, what a nice friendship.

this also makes me realize how supportive xiao rou is towards her husband, but she's always the one reaching out. she's basically doing all the emotional heavy lifting for the sake of his start-up. but the true "love" story for me rn is the girls' relationship. platonic soulmates are real!!
