well then we'll agree to disagree! i got weird vibes from the get go, but him not doing anything when his wife was literally slapped in the face was also a moment of disbelief for me. Not working with the guy was the least he could do, but in the moment all he did was stand there and do nothing.

the husband is just not a good partner. i personally donāt like him because he is emotionally and often even physically unavailable to his wife. she acknowledges that heās ghosting her most of the time, and while itās true that heās working hard to establish his start-up business, itās still a fact that she does a lot of emotional labor to support him and be there for him. heās just not matching her efforts at all. idk if he will cheat, but my main reason for disliking him is that heās not very present in their marriage.
also, even if there is a slight misunderstanding (like the "oh, so he doesn't trust me??"), they resolve it calmly and reasonably. their relationship is mature, but it is also a lot of fun! and nothing is more romantic than being forthcoming and considerate tbh, it shows that you truly value the other person!

the sets are real, but the glasses add to the effect as there are some visual effects generated by the game! the vr game is actually quite essential to the leadsā relationship, which is nice! technically, they do wear the headset for as long as they play the game, for immersionās sake it disappears as they are playing so that the characters and we the viewers really feel like they are in a different world, playing the game. hope this wasnāt too confusing lol!
