if i remember correctly, one is their birth name ("Dou Zhao") and the other is their courtesy name ("Shou Gu"). I guess the courtesy name is for people you're not too close with as it would be a little awkward if a "stranger" calls you by your birth name.

i will always find it weird how heartbroken and sad the 4th prince is when the 8th tells him of his relationship with ruo xi... cause they did not hide it that well lol?? like half the princes knew about it anyway, and with how smart 4th prince is how could he not know??

I have yet to find a show that is like New Life Begins but I always hear “A Dream of Splendor”, “Blossoms of Adversity”, and “The Story of Ming Lan” are really great! If you don’t mind a modern drama with ultimate healing vibes and a nice female friendship, I recommend “Meet Yourself” (episode 1 is tough on an emotional level, but the show as a whole is wholesome, mature and calm!). I hope some will suit your taste🍀☺️

you know, i think the show has a certain melancholy atmosphere from the beginning already, like the ground breaking but keeping together. But episode 20 is when everything falls apart and the real pain truly starts... i can't😪😪 thoughts and prayers for me
