You missed the point here. Normalization of these things. Rapes as jokes should not even be a thing. Intent doesn't matter when you obviously use someone's trauma and fear as a joke and normalize it. You are basically enabling such behavior saying no repercussions should follow. Also, they ain't school children - Well grown adults exposed to the outside world as celebrities.

Agree!! Thup here is written as an idiot when in the novel he is really smart and knowledgeable. Also, they have changed many things from the novel. I just hope that they don't mess up more going further. Though the series is really good till now even considering the changes, I was more invested in watching it for the novel to come alive. So keeping my fingers crossed.

I honestly believe he is receiving all this hate on acting because people can't digest that he is depicting a top as it goes against their beliefs how how a top should be. And they ignore the fact that the role is like that and also his improvement.

I think so too. I guess, as watchers used to stereotypes, they have these set notions that tops must be a certain way with certain dynamics. Its weird at the same time laughable but more than anything disrespectful of the real people and their dynamics. But then again, I don't think they care that much if they only look at these shows as entertainment and satiating their fetish craves.

I am absolutely loving the series so far. Though they have changed a few settings from the novel, they have done a darn great job with the revised ones. Pooh has improved from his first starring role. Hopefully he is able to portray this role much more carefully. I love Pavel's subtle rugged look and his body language for the role.

I hope this is getting released on 29th. The pilot and teaser was promising.

Though the direction is somewhat lacking, the series is overall quite good. Hopefully, they get their act together and release it through proper channels for all regions. Finding a proper legal or other source for that matter for watching the series is like going on a quest.

I will rate this show as the first of very few Domundi series I actually like a lot (tho I like James, Tle & Firstone). Three episodes in, it has proven to be great with the direction, cinematography, music and acting. Keeping my fingers crossed for further episodes.
