I always disliked the 'if you love him, you let him go" stories in series. I never knew why. Till this episode:…
To be honest great perspective because I also have my problems with this (it seems more selfish than doing anything good) but as I read your view of it you are right. I also cant relate to it maybe thats why..
if you don't mind, what was different? i don't plan on reading the novel so im curious what changes have been…
I read the Novel as well and before watching this Episode I hoped they change it because in the Novel Khem and Pharan didn’t confess their love for each other so Pharan was still “cold” towards Khem. If they would do this in the series it would completely break Pharan and PeemKhems development and would end in Ep 7/8 was just for fanservice. So they did a good job with changing it.
Yes she cursed the bloodline of the family, so after Khem its over
Basically the curse was placed on the bloodline of the man we saw, so Khem doesn’t have to be linked to Khemmika. He can be any descendant of that bloodline. As far as I know (understood) it doesn’t target the reincarnations it’s the bloodline she cursed (thats what she’s after she wants to destroy all the descendants). It just happens to be a reincarnation of Khemmika (due to the karmic ties).
