Yes she cursed the bloodline of the family, so after Khem its over
Basically the curse was placed on the bloodline of the man we saw, so Khem doesn’t have to be linked to Khemmika. He can be any descendant of that bloodline. As far as I know (understood) it doesn’t target the reincarnations it’s the bloodline she cursed (thats what she’s after she wants to destroy all the descendants). It just happens to be a reincarnation of Khemmika (due to the karmic ties).
Now I understood why the kiss was ugly, on his part, compared to the other couples at DMD.
Yeeees, they wanted to make it real. Like some people are not born to be good kissers. In the end you can clearly see the development in regard of the kiss
Namping talked about the first kiss scene in an interview today because he saw people commenting on it. He said…
Full context:
🐇: “That scene under the house was Khemjira’s first kiss. Some international fans commented, saying things like: “why did Namping kiss like that? why didn’t he open his mouth? It didn’t look like a normal human kiss at all.”
🐇: “But what Namping wants to say is that this was my choice and also the director’s interpretation. Because a kiss from someone who is only 20 years old, who has never kissed anyone before, of course it wouldn’t look mature yet, and paired with the fact that Pharan’s character is already around 30, that contrast, it’s the beauty of that awkwardness.”
🐇: “We saw it as a kind of coming-of-age moment, where you get to witness Nong Khem’s first kiss being like this, and then his next kiss evolving into that. That progression is what we found beautiful, and it was something we carefully designed. I just wanted to explain so that more people can understand.”
