All the accusations were made by one person(the yxh individual referenced) so the article doesn’t specify a specific insult, it just says the posts made by the person alleging the misogynistic insults lacked evidence, factual basis and everything else I said where he won the case. The newspaper isn’t solely about the case, it was just addressed in a small section. Someone also posted the apology that the individual put out regarding their claims but I only have a sc of that. In the X article(which isn’t really an article) everything was accused in the singular image with the scribbles on it. Again I can’t say wether he is or isn’t a misogynist cause I don’t know him lol. I personally didn’t think the interstellar thing was a big problem but everyone has different perspectives of course which is valid. But like I kinda said in the other you really can’t use something that the person who made the claim themselves could not prove as being true especially in court as evidence of him being what the allegations say he is. I’m not a mandarin speaker but one of the untranslated words translates to “old lady-like”. I can try to refer a chinese speaker who explained the goddess day thing or the wording in the live if you want. I wouldn’t say it’s huge info but basically that the goddess day word is smth that there has been a recent push for people to not use it but it’s still commonly used amongst people and public figures and the other Chinese person(along with another) was basically telling the person who made the reddit post that there wasn’t anything really wrong with the specific wording he used and it was grammatically accurate, neutral and stuff since the other said the character he used was insinuating lack of knowledge or smth.

It clearly states that the yxh's posts accusing ZLH of cheating on his exams and being a misogynist who insulted women online lacked concrete evidence and reliable proof of factual basis thus constitute as defamation and slander. Using this as evidence of ZLH being a misogynist is the spin- not a whitewashing campaign but a smear campaign. To use something that the person who made the claim themselves could not prove as being true as evidence of ZLH's baking a misogynist is misleading, in bad faith and obviously meant to fuel hate against him.
I don't know ZLH, so can't say whether he is or is not a misogynist. What I'm saying is that those screenshots do not prove that.

Oh no I 100% agree on his racist remarks and I believe he deserved the criticisms that's definitely not up for debate haha. I just wanted to inform you about the others weren't factual since people tend to make things up instead focusing on the topic at hand when celebrities to wrong things

The degrading comments about "chicken coop" and so on were comments that he never made. The actual account was sued and issued an apology and his team won.

Rightfully whack him all you want for things he's said and done but running along with debunked stuff that has hurt multiple celebrities in the past before shouldn't be done.

As someone who isn't all that tapped in with the Chinese network, I wouldn't consider myself a fan but rather someone who enjoys some of his works that I've watched. While I do agree that people are rightfully mad about his racist/xenophobic remark, I think it's also important to not spread fake remarks about things he hasn't in fact said.

I never said you had to lol, me personally I didn't think the drawing was ugly apart from the hair and even a host said the drawing was nice however Zhang Linghe is 100% in the wrong for what he said and I agree that people are allowed to be upset because it was disrespectful and it's weird to dismiss people's feelings about it. Even if he didn't intend to offend anyone, Intent doesn't equal impact.

Yes! I loved Lu Yu Xiao in that and she would definitely do justice to Cai Zhao! Zhang Jingyi is a great actress and did phenomenal in Reborn which also has Zhou Yiran as the ml, she also did really well in Blossoms in Adversity! She's definitely someone to look out for!

I'll definitely keep an eye out for that! I definitely enjoyed the expressions I saw during the scene of her punishment but apart from that her acting is not really anything above and beyond especially with her lack of range. Like the comment I saw which first pointed out the acting it also mentioned how maybe the rating would be different with a different actress and I'm very low-key wondering as well. Though I enjoy Bao Shang En's acting I can't help but wonder if someone else would've been able to serve more nuance. Someone that comes to mind is instantly Zhang Jingyi.

Most of the story is clear, yes, at this point everything is very obvious especially to us watchers, the problem here is it's not clear to the characters with maybe the exception of MQY who is gonna find out soon cause he's not being clouded by ties unlike CZ. They are still gonna have to go through all that with 7 episodes. The problem is also there seems to be a lot of push and pull especially with CZ which I understand but it gets to a point... While the story may be clear, they're still gonna have to pace it well especially with how the characters have been built up. MQY stay spitting blood and is still poisoned. From the teasers I can guess how they're gonna pace the rest of the story but it doesn't seem well at least in my opinion.

From the comments it's a happy ending!

Oh my bad I thought 30 and 31 were out already but the point basically is that there's very little time so if the plan is a happy ending then they need to find a way to wrap everything up well so it doesn't look too rushed.

I saw another comment say something about the chemistry between the leads which really made me realize the same thing.... no shade to Bao Shang En at all but both FL and ML's chemistry is riding solely on Zhou Yiran. I never really looked at it until that comment and I was like wait... you're right lol. Also sometimes she can be really expressionless so all you see is just big a** boba eyes staring back at you. She has room to grow as an actress and I have no doubt that she will continue to but ZYR is very clearly carrying atp.
