It's slow but I like it quite a lot! I usually get bored with slow paced dramas but this is an exception for me! Also, watching it while airing is probably helping a lot
I remember being obsessed with this and having a hard time getting over.... Just happened to stumble across the page today! Amazing.... What a journey this was back then!
Is there hope I would like this if I didn't like TMOPB? I'm asking because a lot of people seem to find them similar here and I didn't like that at all (one of the VERY few dramas I ever dropped).... I still loved Ashes of Love tho....
Is it not enough that we verified our email to make sure we are "humans" and are not gonna abuse this site? I'm sorry if this is a very stupid question I don't know how that works... Anyway my point is that since I am not feeling confident revealing my phone number online (and yes I haven't used my phone number in any other site) I feel like it's kind of unfair for me not to be able to use future features in the site just because of that! I've been a user many years and I didn't know I still needed to prove myself to be here :(
Also some people should accept that liking a character in a drama/movie/book doesn't mean that they would like…
The reason I decided to reply to your comment was mostly because in real life I'm surrounded by people who think that the people you "root" for in tv shows and movies reflect your beliefs! For example there used to be a very popular tv series in my country and there was this girl who was a bit crazy. You know those crazy b*tches who try to ruin the female protagonist's life! That girl had a very sad past so there were a lot of people who rooted for her even tho she did bad things! Now my mother would always say that she really couldn't understand that people would like her character since she is "evil" and things like are those people bad too? Why would they root for the bad character? Don't they know what's the right thing to do?
Now it looks like that's not what you meant but that's the kind of mindset my comment was trying to reply to! I was trying to get across the opinion that just because someone likes an "evil" character (in this case a psychopath) or maybe they want someone to be a psychopath doesn't mean they would was this to be actually happening in real life! It doesn't reflect anything in reality! It's just entertainment! Have a nice day! :)
Some people need to accept Dong Shik for who he is, I agree that he should grow less gullible but he's NOT a psychopath…
Also some people should accept that liking a character in a drama/movie/book doesn't mean that they would like that character in real life as well! Wanting Dong Shik to be a psychopath (not saying I personally do) doesn't idolize psychopaths! You should learn to understand that difference! Just because someone likes a bad guy in FICTION doesn't mean they would root for them in real life! I like psychopaths and bad characters in dramas and movies quite often mostly because they are interesting to watch when they have depth and layers as characters but obviously I would never like one in real life xD
PS: I dont know if I sounded aggressive, if I did sorry I was just stating a different opinion!
