It was actually really interesting to watch a drama set during the communist era. It’s a period our parents/grandparents were also talking about and living through, so it was interesting to see how that time looked in a completely different part of the world. And it was nice to watch all of that with some good romance mixed in.
That said, for me the main couple was by far the most interesting part. I enjoyed their romance, but most of the other couples/romances were pretty skippable for me, even if those were not bad.
The second part was better than the first, but I still feel like the main leads didn't get nearly enough scenes together. And most of the finale was basically just them being separated, which really didn't work for me. I also didn't enjoy it as much as the ratings and comments made me expect.
Their love story felt kind of strange to me, especially how some of it was explained, and honestly, the female lead was frustratingly stupid at times. The whole thing with her constantly changing between guys also made it hard for me to fully enjoy their romance.
i can feel the chemistry, but the script is lacking.
The story itself wasn't as strong as everything else. That doesn't mean it was bad, though, so please don't take this as a negative comment. I just think that if you took these leads, their chemistry, the emotional moments, and all the sweet and hot scenes, and put them into a stronger story, there's a good chance it would be a lot better.
just binged this in like 5 days. I really liked the ending. even cried a little. chemistry between the leads are…
Yeah, I usually dont see much difference about chemistry betweeen shows but here it was somehow different. It felt like they are really close in real life. Swing scene was so good I had to rewind.
It reminds me of "First Frost". As both are not just a happy rom-coms but there is more to it. Maybe also "Lighter and Princess", but story is a bit different, just past/present part similar
I think this drama is seriously underrated. I had so much fun watching it. It had funny, sweek, many romantic moments and kisses. If I had seen this withouth checking the MDL score first, I'd expect it to be arount 8.4. I definietly dont think it deserves a rating below 8.
I never watched the anime, so I don’t have anything to compare it to, but Season 2 of One Piece was really good. Usually when Season 1 is amazing, the next season ends up kind of meh, but this one actually kept things super interesting. Honestly, I might’ve enjoyed it even more than Season 1.
No not really... even in virtual illusions, it comes to an end before it happens, one time she rejects herself,…
There are 2 scenes. One with first VR guy in episode 2, but kind of from the side, cant really see lips, and other with ex boyfriend in flashbacks how they started dating.
She didn't kiss any of the guys in the first six episodes.
episode 2, minute 44. they are kissing on the beach. "So many" might be wrong, they showed 2, but they imply she did with other VR guys. And yes, it is VR, so doesnt matter for real ML, but still doesnt feel right to me.
