are we watching the same show? Don’t you see that all 18 episodes tell the growth of Naksu, from cruel assassin to a person who are ready to sacrifice her power for love. She was being misused and treated unfair since childhood, why she doesn’t deserve to find happiness?

I feel kinda both happy and sad if they’re really getting married, knowing how what will happen in part 2. Would he still consider Naksu as his wife if she change her body? However, part 2 with master-pupil wife-husband relationship is not a bad idea. ☺️

of course all of us are attached to JSM character. For me, GYJ’s consistent voiceover from ep 1-18 to potray Naksu’s mind also makes me grow attached to her. I really want to see her get her body back and imagining part 2 with GYJ’s voice+visual is so exciting for me. I believe JSM’s Mudeok and Jin Bu Yeon will get a proper closure.

yea, if prople wants to see FL-centric storyline that focus on growth of FL while the ML is just a shadow then watch the writer’s previous work like Hotel Del Luna. This time, Hong Sister wants to shift the focus to the ML as the star of the show, I believe.

I believe Aching song lyric point of view is not about Uk or Naksu/Mudeok even though it is used frequently for their scenes. The song sounds like someone who makes sacrifice for someone else, and this person seems to know the person she/he wants to protect for a long time. If you read my previous analysis about Jin Bu Yeon intention, this song kinda reminds me of her sacrifice. She knows the prophecy about Cho Yeong and Jang Uk (king star) since a long time, she's willing to protect the two of them. It is not that kind of "love". It's more like her divine kindness that wants both Cho Yeong/Naksu & Jang Uk be safe, even though she remains all alone in the realm of AoS.

A little bit analysis of AoS OST:

1. Scars Leave Beautiful Trace - Car, The Garden
Basically AoS Anthem and it’s also GoJang Anthem. X) The song is from Jang Uk point of view and tells his growth as a character, a desperate young man who finally find someone that change his life forever. He finally finds where to go. My fav part: “I will stand here strong, now I’m never falling down”

2. Aching - Kassy
A sad song, maybe from Jin Bu Yeon/Jin Seol Ran/Seo Gyeong point of view. It’s about unrequited love. Even when loving someone so dearly, there’s nothing they can do but only engraving the name of the loved one in their heart. Continuously protecting the one they love from afar, but they still ended up alone like “a flower blooming over white snow”.

3. Just Watching You - Jeong Sewoon
We all know this song is about Seo Yul. A sweet song about first love. He’s still waiting for his first love to return, yet he still don’t have any courage to confess what’s in his heart. “The secrets that I can’t tell you deep inside my heart”. My poor baby Yul…, you’re gonna end up like Park Jin if you keep all the things in you mind too much. :’(

4. Raindrops - Gummy
The song perfectly summarize Jang Uk & Naksu feeling towards each other even when they didn’t realise they were in love. “Raindrops that keeps pouring have stopped now”, just by having each other, just by leaning on each other, they find the way to overcome the problem in their life. My fav part: “I’ll protect you, I Promise”

5. You’re Everything to Me - Shin Young Jae
A song from Jang Uk to Mudeok/Naksu. He fall in love deeply with her. He misses her every time from day to night. She’s the reason he keeps going on. In his life, it’s all about her. “Without hesitation I can even cross the road that has no way to come back.”

6. Breath - Kim Na Young
This one is from Naksu/Mudeok point of view. No matter how hard she tried to push him away and hide her feeling, Uk is always coming for her. Her cold heart is finally shaken. She finally can escape from her painful past and find happiness thanks to him. “In the gap of my heart that nothing can fill, one day you come. You come to me silently and give me everything.”

7. Love Letter (With You) - BIG Naughty
Just like the tittle, this song is a love letter that Jang Uk and Naksu exchange. Their love confession, so deep that they could die for each other. “I could die for you”.

I thought about it too. Then I saw the background where Jang Uk stand. The ornament of the wall is exactly the same with Jinyowon house. Every house in this drama (songrim, Jang house) have different types of wall ornament.

Those people should watch "The Beauty Inside" to understand the logic. Jang Uk will still love Naksu, even when she shift soul inside Park Jin body. He will see Park Jin as beautiful person too. :D

I try to understand Bu Yeon intention, since it remains a mystery:

I think her main intention is giving the power of Ice Stone to the King Star. Somehow she knows the only way to reach Jang Uk (the new king star) is through Naksu’s soul. Jang Uk and Cho Yeong fate is connected (light and shadow), Bu Yeon knows it since the beginning. The fate of Cho and Jang might be somewhere in the prophecy that only divine being like her can see, it’s the reason why Bu Yeon is so sure to give her body to Naksu. She knows Naksu’s soul is the only way approach Jang Uk and make him desire the power of Ice Stone (before that, Uk is just a young master without goals in life). In the end the new King Star finally can find the way to acquire the Ice Stone and use it properly (not to destroy the world but to protect the loved one).
Bu Yeon trapping Naksu in the Ice Stone, knowing that Naksu will never be able to let Jang Uk dies. She wants Naksu to be ready to let Jang Uk have the ice stone. In the end Naksu will encourage Jang Uk to snatch the power of Ice Stone. Once the King Star gain the power of Ice Stone, Bu Yeon wants him to save the world from chaos.

in the preview I think father Jin is trying to protect his beloved daughter from someone who try to attack her. I don't think Cho Yeon can kill her father...

So Mudeok is finally becoming Jin heiress in the last episode. From the preview, she's trying new clothes in Jinyowon house (recognize the door ornament). But why she's not wearing that signature Jin eyeliner? LoL does she hate it? And Uk made mistake in the past by convincing Mama Jin not to take him as son in law 🤭
