Interesting. Bu Yeon might need to cover her eyes all the time, but she can still look badass. I want to see JSM in those Jin’s signature eyeliners tho.

If you compare it to part 1, the FL is Naksu and Bu Yeon is just supporting character regardless the body they live in. Then it will be pretty reasonable if JSM as original bu yeon only appears in few scenes for part 2, not as the main character, just as a supporting character.

I can accept that as long as there’s no more draggy love triangle.

I want to ask all of you who wants both JSM and GYJ to be in part 2. What do you think will make it interesting? Is it about more complicated love triangle? More heroine among male mages domination? Jin Bu Yeon and Cho Yeong becoming a bestie? Yul will get one of them? Uk will choose bu yeon because naksu is just his master?

Sorry I just can’t understand. I don’t find the reason why the writer would do such a thing.

honestly I never understand those people who wants JSM back in part 2 together with GYJ. We only need one FL. Since GYJ is the most probably confirmed to be back as Naksu, I don’t want JSM to come back being blind Jin Bu Yeon who will only wasting scenes & harming story progression. I love JSM but I hope the writers dont listen to those people who wants JSM back. She will have better projects coming I believe.

Recent BTS made it clear that JSM and LJW doesn’t have much chemistry offscreen, it made me wanting LJW & GYJ pairing more.

I wish I can do it too. But for me, it's so hard to binge watching other drama rn. AoS set the standard too high, other airing drama seems meh to me.

What I’m trying to say is filming problem in part 2 made them realized that they should end part 1 differently because too many things should be wrapped in 10 episodes for part 2. It is not necessarily episode 1 & 2 will be shifted (because I don’t think they finished editing those episodes). I just assume some new scenes (that was originally for part 2) will be added in episode 19-20, just to make 10 episodes in part 2 enough to wrap all the story.

My theory about why they need a break:

Hong Sisters & Director while halfway filming part 2….

Hong Sisters: “Oh no, even 30 episodes are not enough to tell all the stories! We need more… at least 1 or 2 more episodes, but we can’t ask netflix & tvn for more episode slots… then what should we do?”

Director: I have a solution. Let’s just edit the part 1. Cut all the unnecessary slow paced scenes, make it end around episode 18 so we can insert part 2 scenes that we filmed recently into episode 19 & 20.

Hong Sisters: Great idea. But do you have time to edit?

Director: 2 weeks will be enough. I will add more editing team.

Hong Sisters: Okay then. Let’s just make it sounds make sense by saying to everyone that it’s for the better second half.

Yeah, I really hope Jang Kang will at least offering himself to be Naksu’s master or protector. After betrayed by Jin Mu/Danju, Naksu deserves to have powerful mages that will help her.

I heard about it somewhere. I know it’s only a possibility. Even if they want to stay in the capital, I still think the actor who play Seo uncle will be a very good villain. Better than Jin Mu of course. Have you seen him in Red Sleeve? That dude gave me chill.

Jang Kang will never harm Naksu. He cares for Naksu more than he cares for his own son. Both of them will team up in S2.

Since the setting will move to fortress. I think there will be two possibilities:
1. Songrim joined with the Capital (led by Jang Uk the new Gwanju) vs. the rebellion army in the fortress (possibly led by member of Seo family as the main villain).
2. Other possible villain will be the sorcerer from outside of Daeho (maybe someone related to the reason Jang Gang gone missing for years) and all best mages of Daeho will gather at Seo Fortress to fight this villain.

If AoS has a prequel that tells the story of the 4 family elder when they were younger, I believe we will also see a complicated love story that consist of royal family, nobleman/woman, and servant. I mean Jang Gang - Do Hwa - The King - Park Jin - Kim Do Ju. I’m having a headache just by imagining what kind of mess did happen in the past. 😥

I even believe there’s another woman/man in Jin Seol Ran - Seo Gyeong love story that hasn’t revealed yet 😂.

Yes, he’s a terrible villain. He looks weak and doesn’t seem intimidating at all. They should cast a better villain. Hoping part 2 will have better villain.

I’m also questioning this. I’m assuming that Jang family had been existed for a very long time just like the Jin clan. They’re piling up their wealth since many years ago starting from Jang Gang’s great great grandfather who was also a Gwanju. Since Gwanju seems like the highest level of government official, they pay them a lot and they use the money smartly like investing in buying land and businesses. (LOL, I’m just trying to justify their wealth). That’s why they never run out of money. Uk happens to be the only heir of the family. Maybe other Jang’s family members also work for the palace, that’s why they are one of the most influential family.

Imagining they fight in action scene, Naksu vs Uk, then Uk come closer to attack her, after just a little distance between them then Uk sees Naksu’s eyes. He’ll freeze because he recognizes the eyes of the woman he loves.

Can’t wait to see Danggu finally knows about the yin yang jade stones that Mudeok and Uk have. I want to see his reaction. Better he starts gossiping about it around Songrim & Chwiseonru.

I guess so. I want to see JSM in a badass action scene tho
