I know right. Hong Sisters' speciality is wrecking our heart. I think saying goodbye is inevitable in part 1, that's why they need part 2 so they won't wreck us again. If after the end of part 2 we still see goodbye scene again, I'm gonna riot.

Seol Ran (Bu Yeon ancestor) and Seo Gyeong are unrequited love. They may love each other but they never become a couple. Their fate separates them, We don’t know the reason just yet. I hope the main reason Hong Sisters creating another drama about soul swap is because they learn from their past mistake and won’t do that anymore.
Alchemy of soul so far is the mix of good things that Hong Sister have ever done. Mystery, love triangle, fantasy world, all of them is so well written until this moment. Just hope this won’t be another 2022 drama curse. I mean like most of all 2022 dramas have pathetic second half.

Keeping her by his side as his servant when she was sold to a brothel.
Keeping her as his master and promise to help/protect her so she won’t run away from him anymore.

It’s like a hint about what will happen in the future. Maybe later near the end of part 1. CP will be the one who kill Mudeok?
Okay I dont want it to happen, I want CP remains pure and friendly. But it’s hard to ignore that scene. The director made it too obvious.
