Naksu doesn’t have any grudge for royal family anyway. He may hate Jin Moo for abandoning her amd wanting to kill her, but her hatred towards Songrim is bigger (they killed her father). If Naksu regain her power and want to kill mages & songrim people, then siding with CP will be the most accurate choice. Of course her feeling for Uk will make her doubt. But that’s the interesting part.

Yul just gives me firefly boy vibes from hotel del Luna. He was beautiful first love of our FL but we all know that they will not end up together.

I don’t think so. Eun Seo was engaged with Yoon Se Phil 10 years ago, while Gong Chan step sister was still in high school 10 years ago. It doesn’t make sense being engaged with highschooler. Eun Seo was taken to the hospital due to car accident, while the girl (Gong Chan stepsister) in pink jacket was already bleeding on the ground when he found her. If Eun Seo was GC stepsister, I don’t see any reason why would Baek Jin Ki hides his daughter from her mother who desperately looking for her.
I know Yul is the SML. But I kinda have the feelin that the Crown Prince (Third Male Lead, should I call it?) also likes Mu Deok i. That smile in his face after his conversation with Mu Deok may grow into some feeling in the future. Then imagine what happen if the crown prince wants to own Mu Deok/Naksu and bring her to the palace. That will cause a hell of conflict, rather than just a love triangle between 2 best friend. Wow this drama has a lot of potential, since it will be 20 episodes I believe many more interesting stuff will appear.
I know I said this before, Jae Wook is getting hotter and hotter in each episode. I love his acting as his character develops, and also… historical drama styling suits him very much!! I was like wooowww everytime I saw him on screen. You got a new fangirl, Jae Wook. :D
And as expected, hong sisters never fail to amaze me in creating world of fantasy. Their fantasy writing skill is getting better and better. This time I feel like reading a comic book where each character is unique and interesting (the styling and the how they express themselves through action and words). It’s so fun and entertaining. I’m glad it will be 20 episodes

I’m a fan of the writer and they usually give a fair love triangle, not an annoying one but a good one. I believe the writer will make the love story for someone in the past strong and beutiful. That way, the story of FL finding new love that is stronger than her previous love will be more satisfying. I think this plotline happen in most of hong sister drama, so I’m really used to it. Of course SML syndrome will happen for many people, but that’s not a problem.
After knowing Soo Jae painful past, I rewatched the scene where she cried and told her friends that she was embarassed and afraid that Gong Chan might know everything about her soon. That scene hits different after I know everything. Once she fall in love with Gong Chan and know who he really is, the last thing she wants is him finding out about her past with someone who (i’m pretty sure about it) murdered his sister. Or finding out that (maybe) she help her past lover to cover up his crime. Just thinking of it makes my heart hurts. Please give her and GC happy ending!
wow, after watching ep 5 I won’t care anymore about people who are hating the romance in this drama. They know nothing. Oh Soo Jae deserves someone who truly loves her after what she had been thru. It’s going to be too cruel if she still end up alone in the end. The romance element in this drama is a must! It’s an important part of her character progress.
