2022 is K Drama drought for me, I watched almost everything you mentioned but I dropped many and disappointed by some, others are so-so. Greatest year of K Drama is 2016 and 2021 comes second. Alchemy of Souls is literally the only Drama I root for in 2022.
Since part 1 I always complain about why Jeongjingak only accepts male student, now Seo Yul really brings revolution that I always wanted. Jeongjingak is finally accepting girls! It even accept common people from common family. Thank you Seo Yul! He's indeed the descendant of Master Seo Gyeong.
Guys maybe you don't realize but during conversation at Jinyowon ending, Park Danggu actually said "Cho Yeong agree to help Jeongjingak" but Netflix Eng Sub translate it as "Buyeon agree to help Jeongjingak." I don't know why Netflix mistranslate it, but I'm glad to know the fact that Cho Yeong real identity is not gone and people around her start to recognizing her as who she really is.
What we don't see in the ending but we know it will happen:
- Uk agrees to becomes Gwanju after successfully collects all relics. - Uk gets his father sword back, and let Yeong have her own sword and let her think whether she wants to use it again or not. - Uk & Yeong have a baby girl who will becomes the heir of Jinyowon. - Uk calling his wife " Uri Yeong-i" or "Yeong-ah" - Kim Doju finally calls them Jang Uk Naari and Cho Yeong Ma nim
I wasn't wrong when I put my mind to believe this show will have 100% happy ending.
Hong Sisters, thank you very much now I can sleep well. I'll be waiting for Hong Sisters next drama because even with their flaws, they're still among my top list of my favorite writers. I'll be missing their fantasy ideas and crazy rides again. Please live long and make plenty other masterpiece!
I'm overanalyzing Park Eun Hye last filming day photo with the director where she wear beautiful blue hanbok in fire bird room, it looks like the same scene and location with Ukie in blue robe. It seems she survived the last battle. Why would she die tho? Is the trailer only meant to fool us?
