There's no perfect writing in kdrama world, it's just the way we perceive thing. Since I know The writing can be so shallow, I don't expect complicated logic. Key open the door and break all spell. that's it. 😁😁😁. But it's okay if you want to force your logic here, I think it will only ruin the experience of watching kdrama.

why would he be surprised? He knows Yul likes to hide everything from him just like part 1. In part 1 Yul never told Uk he knows Naksu, but Uk always knows that Yul know. I don't think "what?? so you hide it from me??" conversation is not even necessary. Remember ep 1 just by looking at each other, yul and uk already knows what's in their mind, they understand each other really well.

honestly I won't be surprised if park jini and kim yeoni die. Everything about their scenes tells me that they will end in tragedy. Too much foreshadowing since early episodes.
