I'm so glad ukie decided to postpone the 2nd proposal scene. We all don't want to hear "Jin Bu Yeon, marry me" we want to hear "Cho Yeong, marry me".

It's obvious. Yul still thinks Naksu is dangerous, he kept Uk in the dark because he doesn't want Uk to save her and him getting killed by her for the 2nd time. Master Lee said it's very easy for Uk to get rid of JBY soul and save naksu if he finds the truth. Right now, yul only want naksu to die peacefully and don't bring next chaos to Uk, wait until Yul finds out about Jinmu bell, he'll change his point of view.
I think it's his character arc since the end of part 1. He kneeled and begged to find the truth about why Naksu killed Uk but Heo Yeom forbid him, and in the next episode he will find out.

Please stop hating yul, he's just trying his best to protect his best friend. He still misunderstood Naksu and think she's dangerous. In the text preview, he will be the one who find out about Jinmu's bell and how Jinmu used it to control naksu 3 years ago. He'll realize that he's wrong about Naksu. He will know that everything is so unfair for Naksu, and she don't deserve to die/dissapear. Yul will go rampage and attack cheonbugwan and eventually help our main couple to be together.

LoL I said no more theory before but I guess I can't help it. AoS fandom inherently loves theories.

I have no more theory because everything turns to be super unpredictable. I don't trust master lee, I don't trust anyone because I know Hong Sis is tricking us all. I'll just enjoy the rest of the show and preparing myself to say goodbye to one of the best, most memorable, most emotionally consuming, most exciting kdrama that I've ever experienced.

I might be the only one here who is 100% sure that we will get a happy ending.

I fast forwarded the earliest scene in ep 8 because my 5 yrs old were roaming around the room. I was panicking like, omg when will they stop, I keep pressing the button but ukyeong are still doing it.😂

So the final boss is not Jin Mu, the final boss is the original Jin Bu Yeon. I hope Naksu can get rid of her.

I don't understand master lee anymore...

I rewatched ep 5 after finished my hectic holiday family trip, and I guess the episode is better after my 2nd watch. Thanks to fellow commenters here who help me understand Ukie confusing behaviour towards JBY. I guess it is form of payback from the writer for Naksu's obnoxious behaviour to Uk in part 1. Glad to see their relationship finally moving forward in ep 6.

Ep 6 is the best episode so far, so much emotion.
Some of my thoughts:

-I don't know how the parasite affects Yul's mind, but the idea of killing his first love is crazy. It's out of his character, so I believe his mind is not okay, it's not him. We need the fire bird soon to eat all of those parasite, and bring our beloved Yul back. Yul will be reborn like a phoenix.

-Ukie finally begin to accept JBY for who she is, that's the best Christmas gift for all AoS fandom.

-We already know about egret, eagle, pheasant, chicken and peacock, and today we learn about crow.

-Everyone is changed in part 2, So i becomes lovable and Heo Yun Ok becomes 🤮🤮🤮. Why So i must die, when we begin to sympathize her?? Well I guess her character is really helpful in making the plot progress. Thank you So i, Rest In Peace gurl. I hope in your next life you will finally have some chingu.

-We finally see Jang Uk best lines from teaser. "I don't care about the world" and "No one can get out of here alive". His acting is incredible! I guess Lee Jae Wook really did what he said in the interview, he have his own special mantra every time he brings out Jang Uk character: "No one can portray this character better than me."

-About Naksu being kicked out from buyeon body, I think just like fire bird that will save Yul, there must be solution for her. Either with ice stone, or with buyeon soul helping her, there must be a way.

-Too much foreshadowing for Park Jin death in this episode, I can't help but feel pain every time I see him and Kim Do Ju on screen.

if both of them cried then probably it is someone else who died.

we ended the first half, but the only important progress we have here is Seo Yul and Soi plot. Everything else hasn't changed much since ep 1. Ukie is still using buyeon for his own motive, and yeong/buyeon is still pretty much not remembering anything important and still powerless.

Until when their relationship remains transactional like this? At least in part 1 both of them ready to die for each other since early episode. I can't help but comparing because it seems really hard for buyeon to open his heart . I guess Uk's really not over mudeok and never will.

I'm starting to see mudeok as third party now, since buyeon/yeong herself keep refering her (mudeok/naksu) as "that woman", gosh please they need to stop this, I'm afraid that I won't be that excited anymore when her memory returns because they drag it for too long.

Ok sorry I just want to say what's on my mind, sharing my dissatisfaction doesn't mean I hate the show. I love it as always, and part 2 always have special place in my heart. I hope everything gets better tomorrow, I really hate they turn Yun Ok into annoying character, but I'll accept it if she's able to at least help the main couple story to progress significantly.

I got the same feeling, he believes Buyeon's priestess power will return but he's wrong, Yeong's mage power will return and dominate. It kinda goes in line with Park Jin rice cake philosophy. We don't know Yeong's true power just yet.

we haven't even seen how they will solve Jang Uk birth secret plot.

At first I thought he's just trying to protect Yeong from being killed by Mama Jin. Now I'm confused, because it seems like he saved buyeon body and erased yeong memory on purpose, is he trying to create 2nd Seolran to summon second ice stone from the sky?

kinda hope for that, but looking at Ukies clothing habit in part 2, I don't think he will wear 2 types of clothes (grey one and black one) just within 2 episode. 😂

I personally think his post with Lee Da See is the most romantic one.

Don't worry there's a scene where Uk is holding both of the jades. Maybe at that time he realized that even though buyeon is not holding the jade, her past Mudeok memories kept coming back to her.

I've rewatched that drama for more than 5 times and still never get bored. Perfect pacing for a melodrama, great chemistry, great acting and the story is so interesting.
