I only remember Mudeok said "I'll never allow anyone else to stay at this distance except you" in ep 3.

I don't understand why they edit and remove Somin from this scene. But somehow I feel it becomes less confusing, less painful, more acceptable, as if he really saw her as the same person.

I think since part 1 we all know Naksu always look at Yul differently. Danggu highlighted that before around ep 5/6. Naksu always likes Yul, she always long for her childhood friend, he's part of her precious memory. But it's not love.

In the end he'll fall for Jaewook more, I believe, because his acting and charisma. At first I was also not really interested in Jaewook, I skipped almost all of his scene in Search WWW because I was all for Jang Ki Yong at that time. I decided to watch Alchemy of Souls because I'm a Hong Sis fan, and then what, I fell hard for Jaewook, rewatch Search WWW just for him and watch all of his previous dramas. Jaewook as Jang Uk really open my eyes about his talent & visual.

The angst between the main couple is good, I'm pretty sure it will lead them to a good ending.

I'm worried more about Park Jin and Kim Do Ju. They look too happy and lovey dovey from the first episode, what kind of storm that Hong Sis will give them in the end.

Apparently Yul is more suicidal than Ukie. He seems too calm knowing he's going to die, like he already accepts it with no fight back.

His biggest enemy is buyeon. She's the only one who can kill him by removing his ice stone. Better he won't try to make his wife angry anymore.

I was wondering because the voice sounds familiar. It's Ailee the OST Queen. My favorite OSTs from her are "Is You" and "Tears Stole The Heart".

I give this advice only after I read many comments in MDL, twitter and ig where these people who claims to watch part 2 without finishing part 1 are very happy with part 2 plot. They don't complain as much as people who finish and love part 1. I know the buildup is important but maybe not everyone can accept all the changes in part 2. Sometimes, expectation after finishing part 1 it can ruin all of part 2 experience. Many people are here for a fun watch, or interested in LJW and GYJ chemistry, I think we don't have to force them to feel the same heartbreak and pain if they want to skip that.

if anyone here asks "should I watch part one before part two?", I will say just watch it, just watch part two only, because you'll enjoy it without having too much heartbreak.

I realize after reading some comments, people who didn't finish part 1 or only watched half of it tend to enjoy this amnesia plot more. They see this show as broken hero finding a new love, and that's really fun to watch.

For us who are so invested in part one's love story, having mixed feeling on ep 4 ending is so unavoidable. We're excited and sad at the same time, we feel so heartbroken for Uk, and we feel bad for buyeon, we're confused about the kiss, we like it that they're getting closer together but we also hate to admit that they both should forget the past in order to be together again.

Yeah so my point is, of you want to watch part 2 without finishing part 1 first,.just go for it. You'll love the cast the story and everything without having unecessary pain in your heart.

When I heard Mudeok voiceover in the background, my heart breaks into pieces for Jang Uk. I can see the pain in his eyes when remembering all of her words, it's so sad.

And can I talk about how his eyes and expression look so damn angry when she speak to buyeon at dark forest. Omg, I got chills.

from what I see from his conversation with Jinmu, the queen's main intention is to use Jinyowon relic to get the ice stone from the sky during the grand ritual. That's why she works together with Jinmu to snatch Jinyowon from Jin family, by making Unanimous Assembly questioning about Jin family heir. If she face too many roadblocks in her plan to remove Jin family from Jinyowon, then it's very possible that in the end she needs to shift soul with one of Jin family members to access Jinyowon relic. But currently, she basically wants to shift soul with any younger lady.

Yeah, at first my expectation is they're going to recognize each other soon in earlier episode so the story can focus on how both of them work together to solve problems in Daeho. But now I understand the writer intention is to make Uk fall in love and accept Buyeon in his life first before he can move forward. It's okay tho, things can still get interesting. I just hate seeing him so tormented for nothing.

Somehow I believe they will still drag this "not recognizing each other" plot tomorrow. The episode will focus on "which one that Uk will choose, his dead betrothed or his current wife". I think they will drag this until we see Uk falls in love with the current Naksu.
