Also Sunghyeon wasn’t pushy; he was just really into Daon. Yeah, he was a bit assertive, like when he told Daon not to like Jaemin and said he could treat him better, but Daon never seemed uncomfortable he even agreed to let Sunghyeon stay by his side. And when Daon asked him to be more discreet at work, Sunghyeon respected that and just suggested they hang out outside instead. He might’ve been a little intense at times, but he always listened and adjusted when Daon set boundaries.

People on TikTok even on here trying to villainize Sunghyeon is honestly hilarious because y’all are just making stuff up at this point. Saying he stalked Daon just because he saved him in the past? Acting like he’s not a green flag? Claiming he took advantage of Daon when they kissed when Daon was the one who kissed him? Like, yes, Sunghyeon shouldn’t have let it go any further, and he didn’t. He literally pulled away. And I know some of y’all are gonna say it was only because Daon said Jaemin’s name, but even if he hadn’t, Sunghyeon would never take advantage of him like that. plus he’s acting like a massive manchild. For someone who supposedly cares about Da On, he’s got a funny way of showing it like agreeing to Jaemin’s shady deal instead of, you know, actually communicating with Da On. The way he flipped from caring to cold just because things got complicated is a major red flag. If he really liked Da On, he’d fight for him honestly, not play mind games or let Jaemin pull his strings. Right now, he seems more focused on his own wounded pride than Da On’s feelings. Until he grows up and stops acting like a hot-headed teenager, it’s hard to see him as a worthy option.

I just can't believe people are on Team Soohyeon. I get that he was manipulated by Jaemin, but that doesn't excuse his aggressive, invasive, and downright abusive behavior. Even if he was sweet in the past, it only took Jaemin getting in his head to reveal his true colors. Sure, I liked Soohyeon when he wasn't acting out. His desire to protect Da On was nice, but it's disappointing that he let Jaemin's influence and his fear of his father's reaction hold him back. Plus this if I can't have him, no one can behavior is just toxic asf. Da on deserves better than him period.

Why do some people think every show needs a groundbreaking plot? Slice of life is a whole genre for a reason, sometimes a story about a group of teenage boys just living their lives is enough. Not everything has to be high-stakes or overly dramatic even though this show is dramatic in a good way though.
