I was the previous subber, thanks for continue it. But you could have told me.(You heard about it, so...)
I've checked your subtitles, I guess they are great... only it does miss some line-breaks. Sometimes the sentences are too long for fitting on the screen. Also you translated a sentence as I know dragons are everyone's dragons. Which only happen if you use an online translate tool... since Ryu is Ryunosuke shortcut name.
But anyway... there is another subber who does continue this too..
So now we have two person's translating the same drama on the same time. (I've no clue who that other person is.)
I've translated 4 & 5. only need to proof-read them. I try to have them ready at the end of the week. But I got some other kind of translation works too.
I might tackle this drama, since all the other 2022 dramas have been subbed already, but this would mean my first…
I never used Subtitle Edit.
But the subs which coming with the raw if you download it from nyaa. you need to merge some lines together. not sure if subtitle edit will do this too correctly. but you need to do this before you can start translating. Because if you watch the drama with the sub... the first line will be on the top =_=
but let me know if you need help. I do have time for such thing. Just translating a full drama is too much right now. but I can proof read as long you keep the japanese subtitle above the english translation.
At least I always translate putting my translation below the japanese text. makes it more easy to changes errors later.

Well the Japanese subs are a little bit hard to work on. You really need to edit them first before you even can start translating it. (100% if it's your first time subbing and using Aegisub) And JPsubbers doesn't have an alternative subfile.
Be also careful by picking a font which is not really a system default. otherwise might people will kick your ass.
The drama is just out. So it gonna be a while before someone has subbed it. But there are Japanese subtitles. So please just wait until someone picks this up. If nobody has claimed this one within 3 weeks. I might will do this too. Right now I'm too busy with Dakara and Hare-kon.
I might going to sub this if summer heat is over.

But to me it doesn't feel rushed, tho.
