In the beginning I didn't like to watch her for no particular reason in Doctor Stranger, but I started to like her after watching Grand Prince. Maybe it's the hairstyle or being a fickle character in Doctor Stranger, but she was cute, pretty and strong in Grand Prince
For some "justice seeking" rebels who are so precise in their plans, good at hiding their tracks, tricks too advanced that make people believe in ghosts and curses, they sure directed their anger at wrong people . I'm all for revenge, infact I love avenging plots, but these Bukcheon people cared so much about their revenge that they ignored other innocent lives, manipulated people, killed them and committed too many crimes.
The story went the direction I didn't want to but I understand their justification for it as well. I think all would agree with me on this when I say the pace of this drama is all over the graph, the last episode was too slow, mid epsiodes were too fast, when you think you are getting used to the pace of the drama, it changes abruptly. Now, after finishing the series I got only one question, if they can kiss in the final episode what was that in the previous episode. I had too many expectations and anticipated so many plot lines but none of that happened except for the happy ending of the main couples. I enjoyed this but would I rewatch it? Probably not
I haven't started to watch this drama yet but I'm planning to. Revenge makjang dramas are like watching dumpster…
Ok completed watching this and it was indeed a dumpster fire. I got the satisfying ending and the revenge was good. The only thing frustrated me was the dragging reveal of birth secret through 30 episodes of something...Sharon was entertaining and the way she called Jaemin was funny af
Omg!! I cried so much… it broke my heart. I’m hoping the princess is not going to do something reckless again…
Let's say that was inevitable since Eunsoo is at fault as well. But I don't get his hypocrisy of reinstating the ministers. Ultimately he is choosing the same methods as Minister Yoo, it's a plain power struggle between Minister Yoo and the King
I rewatched this and I have realised Wigen should have been a wise character instead she was just stupid. So Mun sure is a wrecking ball, impulsive and takes action without thought. I will give him credit to some extent since he is inexperienced. But Wigen must have some experience, if she thought So Mun was going in the wrong direction without controlling his emotions she should have talked with him and make him understand why he should have his emotions in check and how it would affect others if he didn't. She didn't do anything, she was just enjoying tea time and playing Go. If counter spirits had other responsibilities, I failed to notice or there's want much importance given to them(except for Suho in the files room). Stripping So Mun off of his counter abilities was a stupid move. Also if Yung can track counters and their past actions why can't they track the identified evil spirits which are not caught yet. It felt like Yung was a huge hypocrite, he insisted on rules and made counters do their job while Yung sat on their hands and enjoy their own time. Well I understand these are necessary things to move the drama forward, I didn't give much thought when I watched the first time, but this time I have been thinking what could have been better course of action to take in that situation to avoid the impeding danger. I just wanted to rant....
Wow, did we drag out those last few minutes with the Kang Han's sister clutching onto the sleeve of Yoo Ji Sun?…
She is definitely trying to get revenge. But she is completely brainwashed by Minister Yoo. She believes whatever he tells her, as he was the one who implanted that her parents' death was caused by the royal family. Initially she believed that Han soo has been dead as well(after the cliff incident). The reason I think she avoids Han soo now is because she doesn't want him to know how and what she has been doing for the revenge. Let's say she is stupid enough to believe whatever Minister Yoo told and not investigate why Han soo is targeting Yoo's people specifically. But I find Hansoo more stupid when he knows where Eun soo is supposed to be living and doesn't think to see her even from afar. If he had, he would have known she was kicked out off the house and has been used by Minister Yoo. He always talks about his sister not wanting to know what has happened to their parents and wanting to see her with good news, but I don't understand why didn't he go see her secretly without her knowing.
Anybody else not feeling main villain? He looks like a hard thinker grandpa, instead of just being eviI for evil’s…
Brainwashing Eun Soo to be one of his minions was the cruelest thing he did. Also he wants to hold the absolute power, but he doesn't act like an ordinary gangster. But he kills anyone who could be a blockade in his path. He is not like pure evil, but he is a villain with an agenda and has his own set of rules.
I am at Episode 9 and by now i am so damn tired of Ji Soo still being brought up every hot minute. OH MY GOD SHUT…
Yes she was more than obnoxious. Her character had tremendous growth that in a few scenes she almost managed to get to the level of toxicity of In Wook. But unfortunately she fell one level below In Wook.
I completed this months before, but I came across this again in "Run On" recommendation list. Suddenly all I could remember was how much I hated Soon Ho and In Wook. Soon Ho was just a shitty human. I could not comprehend her actions when she blocked Ha Won from meeting In Wook. Also, why would she fall for a guy that is cold, indifferent, has trust issues, if it wasn't for his fricking jealousy, a life wouldn't have been lost, is that some kind of fetish. Also, Ji Soo why was she with him even after finding about her ex's mother's death cause. How can love glorify this kind of behaviour? If I act in jealousy and harm a person does that show the dept of my love/affection for a person. What in the world logic was that. In Wook was a hateful character because of whom two lives were lost with intent or not. If I were in his position, I would be repenting for it my entire life. I wouldn't care about my fricking career when the victim is "waiting" for you to talk yourself. As someone said in the review this was like drinking warm tea in a rainy gloomy evening, where you would just idly enjoy watching the rain. But because of In Wook and Soon Ho it was completely ruined. Now all I can think about is the shitty things these two did.
What the heck did I just watch..? I don't look for logic in romantic dramas.. This direction, cinematography,…
I was so hesitant to watch a slow paced melodrama but I was engaged to it. The only thing I hate about this is what the cousin did at the end. That was peak trash behaviour.
Coming to FL...This is the first time I'm seeing someone relating Chae Soobin with Yuna. I usually see a hint of Winter or Jo Yuriz members. You should see her other dramas like I'm not a robot or Fabulous.
For someone who is on the path to avenge her family, she sure believes whatever the chief executive or something says to her. I wonder if Eunsoo properly investigated what Hansoo was doing there as attorney and what his previous cases were. There's no way she doesn't know the dead persons are linked to her master and her parents' death. If she doesn't her whole revenge plan is just foolish. Also Hansoo, if he is that worried about his sister why didn't he check if she is doing okay in her in-law's house in secret. If only he checked how she was doing, he could have cleared all the misunderstandings and despair of his sister. For someone who is depicted to be intelligent and Street smart he sure forgot to check the welfare of his sister. I hope there's a reasonable back story for all these happenings. I also hope this doesn't turn into a messy soap opera, I love romance in dramas but it feels like this show is gonna focus on feelings, romance such aspects rather than witty acts of revenge for which I started watching this.
