I usually don't watch actor's drama, whose one work made me extremely frustrating (Introverted boss in this case), despite that he seems so likeable and friendly...If I ever met him in real life, it feels like he would be one of my closest bros. One of the reasons, why I search and watch his series...
I just started this, and a lot of thoughts come to my mind as I watch. I didnt give two cents about politics and government unless it affected me explicitly or just keep updated with the bare minimum. But now I kinda respect and fear what they do and the power they hold...This is gripping and I have got a new perception on politics and government. Also, it is nice to see people actually working for the welfare of the people and the country...
I just hope the ending isnt like "forgive and forget" kinda ending...with the remaining few episodes this is the plausible ending and it sucks...Woori gonna be like "I understand your actions lets just bury this matter" and all live happily ever after...
Confused and conflicted on how to rate this. It has all the elements that I like and also has all elements that…
You forgot to add how 2ML and 2FL got the "happily ever after". If I were in 2ML I would be guilt tripping too hard to go on with my life. This makes me wonder is it normal to move on with your life after causing two women to lose their lives. I can't seem to accept the fact that "love is greater than all" concept that they are trying to portray.
I am in Ep 17 and I just glanced through Ep 40 to make sure it is a happy ending but now I am hesitant to continue watching :(....also whose son is that in the end or is it just imaginary?
The romance here was subtle and minimal and for a political revenge themed drama it was appropriate and not overdone which is why I very much love this....
Doublets, I am dropping Princess Royal for now. FL not calling to me. Sigh. Going to rewatch The Double on Netflix…
Oh really!? I first watched Princess Royal and searched for something similar to find The Double and I wasn't disappointed, and in fact I find The Double more interesting! PS: This is after me fixating my dislike for no reason on ML after watching SOKP and I enjoyed his screen time very much
I really like fight seq but Gong family got their asses handed to them by Wufeng. No 1 vs 1 fights, using bombs and all tricks at disposal to take out them assassins, only a handful of assassins wreaking havoc in the homeground of a sect, Wufeng was really strong. - Gong residence lost too many significant members. - Lost their treasure. - Too many casualties in the Gong side. Simply, it was a win for Wufeng just by looking at the numbers
Exactly just how low WJ planning to go.He's more pathetic than anything at this point, he made a good pair with…
What I don't understand is he not giving a speck of respect for EJ or his birth mother. He blatantly calls names and disrespect them but doesn't hesitate to use them to achieve his goals. He is insecure af, he eavesdrop/peeps EJxSJ interactions, obviously brainwashed and got mommy issues but that's no excuse for his behavior. He is just barely doing his job as a dad, indulging in his selfish desires
This trope of good guy masochistically tolerating all evil is so annoying. I want to see some good guys who care…
Second Husband!? probaly one of the makjangs that had a minimal satisfactory ending with some avenging in the process...but it could be equally frustrating as always..ML of Second Husband is in this cast as well!
PS: This is after me fixating my dislike for no reason on ML after watching SOKP and I enjoyed his screen time very much

PS: Gong Huanyu thinks he is Aizen...
