I got these questions related Miss Liu(Crown Princess/Wife of Prince Jing/Empress in last ep). Xia Jiang predicts she would be chosen, there is a scene where she reveals her connection with Hua remnants, Lin Chen and Lin Shu discuss about the list of Hua spies that they got from Xia Jiang's wife and Lin Shu tells to leave a person alone as that person will be useful. I also don't feel good about Prince Yu's wife and unborn child. Prince Yu's wife was devoted, will she sow the seeds of hatred in her child to avenge Prince Yu and Hua(as she knew it from eavesdropping). Coming to Xia Jiang, he planned something and a hitlist whether his reveal of Mei Changsu's identity succeeds or fails. But it kinda fizzled out, what exactly happened to that plan, the only thing related to it was the assassination attempt on Princess Jinyang since she has the confession letter on her. Other than that I couldn't see anything...
I reluctantly started this since there was a tearjerker tag, but I have grown to like this genre very much, it is not like the regular family drama tearjerker (whiny & annoying). Also, the cast and characters are so good, especially Prince Jing faction characters. If I had to list the reasons to watch this, Consort Jing will easily top my list...She is absolutely beautiful, kind, intelligent af
