I was one of the people that noticed the cheapness and wasn't sure if I could continue it. I'm thinking of giving…
How far are you? I'm finding ep 2 weaker than the first one and I'm not so sure whether to continue either (especially when it was marked as 20 episodes long, but it's not a case anymore). While the first one perhaps wasn't that stunning in terms of production values (save from foreign locations that work on their own), what they chose to do was successful enough in creating fantasy mood, despite crude means. The intention of that milky overlay in ep 2 is clear, too and helps to mark the place in question as otherwordly, even if the means are lazy comparing to other dramas these days. So as much as I'd rather watch something that's both stunning and generally well put together, cheapness alone isn't disqualifying for me. That was my point. Here I'm more concerned with writing and a bit put off with one annoying side character that seems to be getting more screentime in ep 3 (that hellish aunt). I feel like nothing happened in ep 2, we're going headlong toward more of the same instead of exploring fantasy aspect, and the male lead creeps me out. Also, someone from the music team remembered to add some generic OSTs that were lying around because nobody wanted them elsewhere, which is a disappointment since ep 1 only had instrumentals. But it still has some intriguing points, so who knows how it will turn.

I like the first episode. It sprinkles bleak, dreary setup with typical romcom plotpoints, but somehow it works.

Title Jugglers Spoiler
I'm pleasantly surprised there was a twist on cohabitation trope. I wasn't expecting that from the last preview, and him choosing living there knowingly changes things.

Title Black Spoiler
important news on the ending ;apparently the director went ahead and added the last 5+ minutes on the show himself…
forget the makeup, how about obliterating entire drama worth of unearthing corruption and misery that magically puffs away with a wipe out of one person that wasn't even the root of this all...

Thanks for sharing that!
I see some complaints on the cheapness of the cinematography, here and in other places. Sure, they probably blew more funds on Slovenia trip and relied on the sceneries more than purely cinematic means (that long scene with milky overlay in ep 2 was just lazy), but consider this: take While You Were Sleeping for example. It certainly didn't look cheap, but the feedback at the end is mixed at best.

/oh, it's back to 16 eps. Was it a mistake?

Title I'm Not a Robot Spoiler
I hope this doesn't turn into an everything but the kitchen sink storyline drama! I really like the lead characters…
so much agree on this. I think they could stick to internal conflict and mine up plenty of angst just from the relationship of the main three, with the robot-maker facing his unresolved feelings for his ex, Kim Min Kyu getting conflicted about falling for a robot (which is better than nothing in his situation, but can lead to hostility of sorts for her not being real), not to mention the whole mess of their chance encounters outside and figuring out her true identity - it can take him weeks... Some spur from the outside is ok, but they're throwing it all.

First of all, Melos are my favorite kind of k dramas, but if it is going to be a very classical story ith every…
do you have any arguments why do you think so of the fantasy element other than 'just bad'? I think it was the strongest part of the premiere episode. It gives off a fairy tale vibe, isn't overexplained from the get go but leaves a space to gradually clear up as the story goes on. The way scenes are put together is a great improvement from LOBTS and at least on par with Chicago Typewriter, transitions are more fluid and have their own logic. Mundane scenes (the office, Hae Ra's misfortunes) are nicely contrasted with fantastical in a way they're lit and shot. With how little was actually shown of the fantasy world, isn't it too soon to condemn it?

The first episode was a disappointment. Will the main female lead continue with such ridiculous antics or will…
They already did. Not much antics on her part in later episodes, but that courthouse is still a circus.
/same thing on ep 9-12, to the point that if I came for crazy judge antics, I'd be disappointed with this drama not fulfilling its premise (but it may change now after certain events took place). // it didn't.

The drama will be ending in another 3 episodes. After dropping it, will be watching again to see whether Masatsugu…
I see. That's my first taiga, that's why I ask, maybe there will be a massive recap in the end or something. Or if they are going to sneak memories of him throughout the remaining part, that's a valid reason to stay for me, too.
After your other comment I checked the wikipedia page on him and they do diverge greatly from the history. But I'll take that too for the sake of drama!Masatsugu. He's too precious to be historically accurate.
How come Takahashi Issei is getting pushed lower and lower on the cast list. He carries whole two second tens of episodes.

what makes you think he'll come back? I stopped where subtitles reached, but spoilers I couldn't avoid were very pretty... conclusive on his end.

THIS WAS SO GOOOOOOD. I was so confused at the end of episode 4. That'll teach me to not read the synopsis before…
is it inaccurate or revealing too much too soon?

For each episode? Or for the final episode?
iirc every episode had a tiny epilogue.
/actually, I just remembered someone put them all into a video, so even if you miss something, you can scroll for it here in the comments section or try googling. I kept forgottig about those epilogues when watching more than one ep at once, so it was helpful.
