I'm scared to start this series....scared she'll end up with her hubbie.....can't find character…
I don't believe that's the case anymore (yay!). After some perturbations she declared him only a father of their kids and a friend she needs to protect from a certain psychopath, not an item to reclaim. Also, there's one more possible endgame for him (no spoilers). Bong Goo is coming too strong to end as a 2nd lead, they're having some kind of a mutual understanding and he genuinely admires her for what she is (smart boy).
I actually really like this so far, they make such a heavy subject comedic - at the same time they know when to…
my thoughts exactly. The premise sounds depressing at first, but they're approaching it with an unique mood. It's not even typical bittersweet. When a topic of suicide, cancer, getting a life insurance etc emerges there's something of a reality break. I don't know how to put it in words.
I have seen a number of people getting upset that this "Adaptation" isn't following the same path…
haha, I surprisingly liked that one with zombies (both book and the movie; the book reads as something a bored English Literature student would do to kill some stress, it follows the orignal text very closely and then bam! zombies stroll in like it was the most natural thing in a world, the worldbuilding is quite consistent and seamless no matter how utterly ridiculous it may seem at first).
There's also a kdrama of course, which isn't even an adaptation, but a very vague resemblance suggested between main characters having a prolonged misunderstanding (plus, a physical copy of a book appears in a scene or two).
I'll be honest, so far I absolutely can't stand Seo Woo Jin at all. I know it's super popular in…
Oh, they clearly are going this route. More specifically: let's make him jealous by showing him peeking on the heroine and 2nd lead getting friendly. And if he's capable of jealousy then by drama roules he must be a fully functional human being with feels! Therefore he's actually quite a nice guy.
Almost.

Me too, I'm mostly fast-forwarding him, but he has some redeeming qualities too (which doesn't make him any less of a snobby jerk). He (probably) achieved his position by his own strenght. He has integrity, he's just (in his way) and not afraid to stand up to his superiors when he sees it as a right thing to do.
Sometimes he seems like a two characters to me. He's radical, yet mostly reasonable with everyone else, but unreasonably rough on Ho Won.
From the trailer, he seems to warm up in ep 6!
But with Eun Hee resources wouldn't it be faster to instead of this convoluted scheme just get rid of Jae…
What couldn't she do, seriously?
I can imagine her manipulating Jae Bok into a romance instead of her husband (with much more effort, but it's still thinkable - she's tired of her husband and doesn't seem to think very fondly of him). He would be alone and vulnerable, Eun Hee could hover around and gradually present herself as a good canditate for a wife and mother and never mention she had anything to do with Jae Bok.
I agree she was never for radical solutions (although she wasn't too devasted when things seemed to turned out this way). but there's a lot of convenient middle grounds. She could buy JB law firm and send her somewhere with a good air. Or to some really dangerous place where she would have to deal with gangsters and politicians.
On a second though - maybe Eun Hee is a tiny bit too unhinged for logical actions despite being able to plan things in advance? She's not careful with the way she presents herself as a mother of those kid to strangers, that's just a silly move, it's bound to be exposed.
/Now that I'm thinking of it, it makes perfect sense. EH is enjoying the process. She wasn't waiting for years just to get JB out of the picture, she wants her crushed, slowly and painfully.
They could have picked someone else to play the main detective lead.someone more experienced... don't really…
he has an experience tho...? And he was a prosecutor before, that's close enough in my book.
(I have to admitt he'll always be a gumiho with an artificially changed voice to me.)
But with Eun Hee resources wouldn't it be faster to instead of this convoluted scheme just get rid of Jae Bok and take her place next to grieving Mr What Can She Possibly See In Him and his kids? Instead she gained another rival in Na Mi.
i have to watch this now because of N.... is this good? at least watchable?
Oh, I see. Was it him in a picture then? I mean, will it be N appearing in a second half or some other actor cast as an older version? (Or just N in both cases?) I agree the character seems to have some importance.

Erm, is he famous or something? He wasn't this high on cast list, someone pushed him up recently. Up to ep 8 he only appears once (I guess) as a person in an old picture, so unless there's some retrospection coming, I wouldn't have much hope to see him. So kudos to that someone for even spotting him.
But the show itself is suspenseful and trolls with a viewer in a good way. Give it a try if you want to (just ignore the synopsis above).
/hey, someone pushed Im Se Mi down. Not cool. She has a lot of screentime.
And how is Shin Hyun Joon this low?
I was just scrolling down the page and I've got to say, I'm surprised by the lack of any negative comments.…
It's just to long to hate it reliably. No one is going to spent 60 hours of his/her life and pay enough attention to be able to bring some constructive criticism.
