I just saw a new clip, with the death of qingyu, their mother was so mad/crazy and she order the servants to knock Ren susu unconscious, they prep her to be burried along side qingyu. Thank god qingyi came and saved Ren susu, he took her body out from the coffin.

Wang churan and Zhang Linghe's characters had so many crying scenes in overdo which earns them their nickname title: Ms. Crybaby and Mr. Crybaby, the Crybaby Couple. 🤣 🤭 that was funny.

Based on the tradition, it was suppose to be the bride and groom's hair 😅 qingyi's a savage.

I understand qingyi hatred for her but it was a misunderstanding and ren susu must of felt so bad and live in regret. She endure 6 long years without him and was a single mom. 🥲

Overdo is dark but i like that they add some humour to balance it too, especially cheeky qingyi and his sarcastic lines.

Knowing qingyi, his heart will soften for Ren susu overtime.

🤣 qingyi said that even if ren susu married his older brother she will still be close to him. Right after that, he told her that it was his hair in the bag along with her hair that he cut earlier. 😅 🤭

Lmao 🤣 during the scene when qingyi was heartbroken and drinking, li boze came and advise qingyi to let go of his feelings for Ren Susu then qingyi also lecture him too. 😅 li boze said that qingyu and Ren susu are getting married so qingyi should make way for them. I found it funny how later after that li boze got rejected and then he also learns that ren susu was pregnant with qingyi child. 😅

Ren susu love qingyi but she always have to surpress her love because she has missions to carryout. Ren susu was going to accept qingyi's love and settle down but then a plot twist happen and now her godfather Mr. Fang was murder which pulled her back to revenge .

If you're expecting a lovely dovey romantic reblican era drama then this is not it, as this drama is more dark with many plot twist. Those who like darker theme will love this drama.

Lol when people start to hate an actor/actress that means they played their role good.

Watch it and judge for yourself as everyone have diferent preferences and also perceive things differently.

Zhang linghe said they film two different endings so idk which one will be chosen.

I need a historical drama with them both.

Ren susu most likely faked her death so that the culprit will expose themsleves which is qingyi ex-fiance whom orchestrate to bring the murong family down. Remember Ren susu and qingyi will have a son so Ren susu will not be dead.

It's a drama, and that's how the story was directed, each character had their reasons. Ren susu live for revenge, and she tried surpress her love for qingyi as it will make her distracted. As one plot twist after another, Ren susu was ready to make peace and accept qingyi love but her loving adopted father Mr. Fang was murder and plus learning about the master mind behind the death of parents death, it pulled her back to revenge. They been through so much and I believe they do deserve their happy ending but this drama is dark with many plot twist so who knows if they will have a happily after.

As his older brother's fiance she is in no place to help qingyi when we gets beaten by his mother but Ren susu help qingyi out a lot of times too. For example, slapping qingyi fiance when she bad mouth him, and also shield qingyi from the metal holder at the ancestral hall, saved qingyi from eating the raw meat and protect him from his adopted father wrath, she stop his mom from whipping him then the mom redirect her wrath to ren susu and was going to whip her too. They both actually save each other most of the time.

If I remember correctly the only time Ren susu used qingyi was to get into the huo mansion to save her friend 3 years ago. She never meant to drag him into her mess but just got caught in the crossfire, Ren susu shot herself on the train to clear his name but she didn't expect the huo family to be ruthless and put qingyi in jail ( the huo wanted to kill qingyi but his older brother negotiate with them for him to be lock up for 3 years). After she came back as his older brother's fiance, she warned him many times to not get in her way as she need to take revenge because she doesn't want to drag him into her trouble but qingyi always follow her and volunteer to help.

Misunderstandings and qingyi went to train in the military for 6 years. Qingyi didn't know Ren susu was pregnant and that she had given birth to their son. Qinyi will find out after he came back 6 years later. As for what was the main cause for the misunderstanding that led him to leave Ren Susu, we will have to wait and watch the upcoming episodes (might be the death of his older brother that triggers him?? Just my guess though)

With all these plot twist I'm eager to know what happens next, I need them to release the whole package deals so that I can watch the rest of overdo now.
