They should have ended up like the drama Rise of phoneix , where she sacrificed herself and in that regret even king cannot take action against her clan. Its like giving accountability to her people as a royal member. I know suicide is not a solution..but during that time it was to make a statement or create impact. After watching 14 episodes of this drama, I watched some episodes of blood of youth, especially where they kept on mentioning Prince langya(ruofeng), It was so much more relatable and emotional compared to earlier, especially after seeing the strong bond between the friends and noble charecter of his...no wonder everyone followed him blindly🥹..Eagerly waiting for rest of episodes, but we know how they will end up...🙂🥲
