They do have a break up situation but it got cleared up within 3 eps.

Main lead romance: they are not the type touchy-kissy affectionate type, more through actions type. I am okay with how they are but some viewers are not.

Story: it is getting more frustrating rather than complicated, the villains do a lot of scheming.

Screen time : depends on the story for the episode actually. Sometimes the villain or other side characters get more screen time.

I can relate. The fact that Bae yOung Joon has been hit 2x by a truck in that show is classic haha

Today’s episode wasn’t as frustrating as yesterday’s (thank God!). What was actually more frustrating for me are the bugs in Kocowa app this weekend (it made the FF button use extra annoying, a lot of loading and buffering issues).
I am glad I chose to restrain myself and wait for the subs because it made me less mad (the YT clips were a hard watch earlier today).
Some of the good points in today’s episode for me were:


Seeing this side of TK again (the cold, unforgiving, i-won’t-go-down-without-a-fight aspect. And with how AJH delivers his lines~chills!~) was a “yay!”. I really like their showdown at JH’s apartment.

- I appreciate the rest of the Gong’s loyalty to TK and YD.

- I also like how JH is experiencing first hand the difficulties TK had to go through to get accepted in the family, with everybody really showing great disgust as to how this scumbag is suddenly related to them. He really thought it was going to be a walk in the park. I will feel bad for granny though if there really is some sort of scam happening.

- Jang ho being suspicious knowing SJ is involved somehow is also “yay!” .

I am enjoying Longing for you. I put my dearest on hold but so far netizens have been raving about it. My perfect stranger has been on my watchlist but so far I am not in the mood for it.

The raw version usually comes out between 9:45 - 10:30 am PST, then the subbed around 12:30 nn. The earliest it has been uploaded (in my experience) is around 8:30 am PST for raw.

It seems like they were forced but they actually did not register their marriage until this recent episode. It was very clearly established that these 2 were in cahoots with their pretend marriage which made their contract marriage fun for me. They have very good team work that is why no one suspected that everything was fake. They actually have a very healthy relationship and for me their scenes were written in a way it was easy to see them transition from being acquaintances to pretend couple to an actual couple. The types of fights they had earlier in the show was very common for newly weds. The show did take the very formulaic makjang route but this show was more fun for me.
